July, 17th, 2065.
It's probably abit past noon, nearly everyone else is downstairs eatting lunch. I said I'd join them shorty. My neice, Lainie, had an early lunch, and being that she's use to afternoon naps, well here we are. In Lexi's room, on my guest bed. As I sit and write, she's curled up by the pillows, already off in whatever land she normally dreams about, if that even the case.

Speaking of dreams, I know this'll seem off topic but it's not, trust me. You see those second and third already used pages in my diary, with the two pictures?

One, of a gorgeous creature, more properly known as a Hippogriff. And on the other page, the second page morealess, has two little children. Although it's in black and white, I can assure you that both have dark locks of brown; the little girl with her sparkling bright eyes that matched the ocean scenery perfectly, while the boy, whom looked the littlest bit older, had orbs to match the sky after nightfall. Little freckles were barely visible on the little girl's face, in the picture atleast. Both had pale complexions, as if they had not spent many hours in sun, which was definitely false information.

The 'names' under the picture are obviously nicknames. Super Con, and Ducky. Who are they? you know even though your a silly book, I shouldn't be telling! Super heros are suppose to keep their real identities secret. Oh well, I give in. It's not as if anyones going to read this, after all, first person that does will get hexed!

Super Con is actually Conner Edmund Mae, one of my two big brothers. And Ducky, is refuring to the little girl. Her real name: Savina Nicole Mae, preferably known as Savannah. Yup, that's me. I had given Con that nickname so many years ago..the picture alone had been taken when I only just turned seven, and He, nine and a half year's old. Ducky. That was my childhood nickname, for almost an entire year I refused to listen or obey, if someone called me anything but that. Then, I wanted my name back, only because I went stubborn and wanted ONLY Conner, Wyatt and Alex to call me by that name: Ducky.

Wyatt and Alexander Saunders, that is. My eldest sister's half-brothers on her father's side and Conner's two best friends.

Now your probably wondering {Or maybe not..your a book} why I say that's not off topic, when it really looks to be? Simple. It came to mind, because of my dream from last night. More of a broken dream, I hardly slept with all the tossing and turning. I'm not surprised. Truthfully, I would be surprised if I hadn't dreamt of Conner. It's been two years now since his death, and not a day goes by that I don't find myself thinking about something that links me back to him, especially when my mind isn't occupied with something else. Probably part of the reason I try to keep as busy as possible. Anyways, I don't want to go any further into that. I..can't, still not ready. The last time Conner was mentioned with me around, was at his memorial service, and I am greatful my family keeps his name from reaching my ears. Atleast until I can be more comfortable; right now it still hurts, like a stinging open wound.
