Luna arrived late to the End-of-Term feast and left early. She wouldn't hve bothered to go at all, except that it wasn't just another End-of-Term feast, it was the Leaving Feast; their final feast before heading out into the world to begin their lives as fully-qualified, adult, witches and wizards. But, now it was time to finish collecting her belongings from all over the castle. Usually all she needed to do was post announcements by the common rooms and her things turned up in time for her to throw them in her trunk before she left. But, this term, someone had left her a note saying that she would need to find her belongings which were hidden throughout the castle.
She had found most of them already, but there were a couple precious items that someone had managed to extract from her secret drawer which had been locked by a powerful charm, or so she had thought. She had already given the entire castle a quick search and was now moving on to search the various nooks and crannys. Covered in dust from head to toe, she crawled along the corridor, searching behind every statue and suit of armour.
Hearing her name from a familiar and friendly voice, Luna sat back on her heels and coughed as she wiped her forehead with her dust-covered arm, her wand tip still lit up in her hand. She placed a hand on the statue she had been examining to steady herself; she was a little dizzy from having sat up so quickly. "Hello, Ginny," she said, wearily. |
