The New York Times reports that, as of its latest issue, Harry Potter has entirely fallen from its best-seller list.
Sorceror's Stone first appeared on the list on December 27th 1998 at the bottom of the hardcover fiction section. Within a year, Harry Potter held the top 3 spots. That was when a separate list, for children's books, was created. Furthermore, Harry Potter was later relegated to a series chart, which tracked novels not as individuals, but as compilations.
