Elder Quad Dustin Phoenix smiled mischievously at Savannah then at Benny and nodded. "We won't do anything...too bad," he assured her. Yeah, that wasn't much of a reassurance coming from him, but it was a start. What she didn't know was that he didn't really plan on embarrassing her much, or Curt for that matter. He did want her to be happy, but she was his sister after all and he was extremely protective of her.
Following Ben off the bus, the newly turned fifteen year old looked around and greeted everyone in his path. "Where's Curt?" he whispered to Benny, in attempt to suppress his laughter. Much luck with that Dust. He was already overwhelmed with laughter. This summer was going to be great, he could already tell.
Valencia Phoenix rolled her eyes at her brother as she too got off the bus and walked swiftly beside Savannah over to everyone else. She said her hellos and whatnot then stood by and listened to all of the lively conversation. She would be eighteen in about two weeks, having just graduated from Hogwarts. She was pretty sure with her career path and she was acting more and more like a young woman than a little girl. No matter how much Axel hated it, his little sister was growing up. Dusty was hating it too. The older she got, the closer she would be to moving out.
Smiling down at her young friend Sammy, Vee's eyes welled up momentarily then they quickly went back to normal. She was definitely feeling sad that she graduated and she would no longer be at Hogwarts with her best friends. True, Dusty would be transferring, which she liked much better, but it still wasn't the same. She actually had to get a job now. Yuck. Jae Maguire hopped happily off the bus, bag over his right shoulder and rugby ball under his left arm. He grabbed Danny's hand with his free hand and ran over to where Legend was calling them to. "'Ello mates," the young boy greeted. He had an extremely thick Irish brogue, so he was even surprised that people understood him. But his friends always knew what he was saying, and that was the only thing that mattered to him.
Liam, his little brother, wasn't too keen on the idea of leaving him at home with his little sister and twin babies: a boy and a girl. But Jae had insisted that he would be gone for only a few weeks and Liam had reluctantly let him go. On hearing Ben ask who that guy was, Dusty shrugged as well. "Why don't we find out then?" he asked mischievously. He looked over to hi s sister, who was pretty much standing there and he nudged her gently. "Everything alright?" he asked quickly in Spanish. Vee snapped out of her reverie when she heard an all too familiar voice. "Oh, oh yes I'm fine. Finally coming to the realization of my graduation, but I'm fine," she too spoke in Spanish, her voice a little shaky. |
