Epilogue

“Come along children,” she said, ushering her children forward.

Her husband walked next to her, her hand locked in a perfect fit with his. He smiled, watching the children run after their big sister.

Today was Tinsley’s first day at Hogwarts. She was more excited than anything.

“Behave,” Farah told her, giving her daughter a hug. She kissed her on the cheek and let her go.

“Write to us every day. And get the best grades you can get. We miss you already,” her father said.

“I will daddy. Don’t worry,” Tinsley said.

She gave her father a long hug, her father crying a little as he let her go. This was the first time she would ever leave him. He didn’t want her to go, but he knew she had to.

“I love you, Tinsley,” her father said.

“I love you too, daddy,” Tinsley replied.

“I love you Tinsley,” Farah said. “See you at Christmas.”

“Love you too, mum,” Tinsley replied.

Troy, Knox and Onyx all practically tackled their big sister with hugs and goodbyes. Tinsley couldn’t help but smile as she hugged them back.

“Bye!,” Tinsley called as she stepped onto the train. The clock rang eleven and the train began to leave the station.

Tinsley’s father and her siblings followed the train, waving bye as it picked up pace. Tinsley was hanging out the window, waving goodbye to her family. Her father and siblings waved goodbye until the train was out of sight. Seeing all of this made Farah know exactly what she had to do. When her husband came back over to her, she told him, “Take the children home, I have to go do something.”

“Are you okay?,” her husband asked, noticing that something looked wrong.

“I’m fine. See you in a bit,” Farah replied.

She gave her husband a quick kiss as she apparated away.

Farah appeared just outside of the cemetery. She opened the gate and walked in. It was a little cemetery, people who lived in that city were generally the only ones buried there. He had been buried by his parents, and Farah rarely visited his grave. She felt like she had betrayed him, like she had killed him even though he was the one that killed himself. Farah still couldn’t believe it had happened and she didn’t like to think about it. But today, she felt it was the right thing to do, to visit him.

“We sent Tinsley off to school today. She is officially a first year at Hogwarts, can you believe it? It’s been eleven years since I had her. I can’t believe how fast time has flown. Before I know it, she’ll be graduating,” Farah said to his grave, laughing a little. She knelt down next to the ground that his body was lying under. She began to cry softly.

“I’m sorry I did this to you. I never thought it would go this far. After all we’ve been through, I can’t believe this happened to you. I’m so sorry. I’m so, so sorry,” Farah cried.

Farah stood up, whipped her tears away, and left the cemetery. She apparated back to her home, going in through the front door.

Her husband and her other three children were sitting at the dining room table, enjoying lunch. She went in and walked over to her husband. She threw her arms around his neck, taking a deep breath.

He automatically understood where she had just been by simply looking at her. They both knew each other too well. He wrapped his arms around her, hugging her tight. He closed his eyes and let her intoxicating scent take over him.

“I love you,” Farah told him. “Forever.”

She leaned back and softly pressed her lips to his.

“I love you too. I’ll love you longer than forever,” replied Draco.
