I also LOVED the quiz idea as another activity idea and I think it will be great for after the graphics contest! Now, as for the graphics competition, I need one person to make the final layout of all the details in one post so that everyone can refer to that post as the guidelines for the contest should a member have any questions. It'll be easier than having to read 12 different posts. How about launching the event on Saturday March 29th or Sunday March 30th and running it til Friday, April 11th. Then make voting from April 11th thru April 18th? Feel free to tweak these dates as needed, but I'd like to see a finalized plan no later than Wednesday March 26th. Thanks! |
I think the graphics PM is great. When it gets the go-ahead, we can split up the members list and get cracking with sending them out.
As for the April Fools day, you're idea is great. I'm not that creative, so any suggestions for messages would be great. Could do it as user notes or PMs. Any preferences anyone?
As for the quiz, I'll set about working on some questions (maybe 20 in all, 10 about Jo, 10 about the HP series?) so at least whilst the graphics competition is being judged, I can do something useful. When we announce the winner to the Graphics comp, we could send PMs to everyone and then drop the quiz details in same PM.
(I hope all that makes sense. Just come back off a night shift so at the crazy stage of lack of sleep, so I doubt I make much sense at all)
