I dunno...Bill was supposed to be working the Gringotts grapevine. They had Kingsley, Arthur, and Tonks for the Ministry stuff; in fact Kingsley was the best placed for that. It's not unlikely though. The Vanishing cabinet that Peeves broke in...PoA, I think...didn't mean squat until Book 6, right?
