In 8th grade i had the tip of my middle finger smashed in a very heavy door at a pep rally. It took about a year for my nail to grow back. it's a little crooked and it's a bit longer than my other one. there is no bone in the tip, its shattered and will never be fixed. it sucks and hurts sometimes but i deal with it.
