yes i totally agree with this, i mean yes it's okay for him to sometimes say a funny line and he is very good as a bit of comic relief. but the script writers aren't balancing it out enough. in the books Ron is the funny one at times, but he shows his loyalties through certain lines and actions...but then they change it in the films so then all we see is the funny side of the character and a bit too much cowardice...he is in Gryffindor, so he has to show his bravery too!!
I still love Rupert as Ron, he's so great as him, but it would be nice for Rupert to show Ron's other qualities, like bravery and loyality. It's not Rupert's fault, he just has to say the lines given, but I'm sure he'd jump at the chance for everyone (those who have and those who haven't read the books) to see Ron's courageous and strong character.
