I've lost count of how many times i've said that in the movies Ron has become the comic relief. I've never liked how that character is portrayed, all he does are goofy faces, and he's represented as a some dumb coward. My concept of him is not good, but there is more to Ron than that.
It's not like he's my favorite character, far from it, but yeah, they've kind of made that character look even worse than he does in the books. I'm not Ron's fan (in case you haven't realized, lol), but as a fan of the books i really hate it when they disregard what's written to fulfill some movie cliche (the comic relief). I'll not sign the petition, mainly because those things don't work, look at all past petitions, for Wood, for Cho, for GoF to be four hours long etc... It's a waste of time. And secondly because i don't care much about Ron anyway, i'll leave the job of defending him to his fans.
