Excellent 10/10

The best one by no doubts. There was not one part where it draggedcos I'm sure if it was any longer it would have . You were either laughing, sympathetic, awed or scared. All the parts that were supposed to be funny were being laughed out loud at.
The Knightbus was fantastically fast paced and funny. Stan Shunpike had his pimples and a great cockney voice. He seemed a little cold toward Harry but then I suppose all bus conductors are. Lol.
You tell this film is a lot more magical as soon as Harry enters the Leaky Cauldron. Witches and wizards stirring soup with their fingers moving the spoon with out touching it Percy getting his glass filled from a floating drinks dispenser and the sinister Wanted posters. The dementor on the train is a bit slow but I suppose that makes it a lot more sinister. You a woman screaming briefly and that’s it.
As soon as Lupin gives Harry the chocolate you tell he is a very nice guy even if you haven’t read the book. The part on the bridge is so emotional you can tell how much Lupin loved the Potters .As I imagined him and sounding like imagined him to. David Thewlis’s acting is astounding and is beaten only by Gary Oldman’s.
The choir is brilliant makes the school seem a bit more medieval you know. Also when I bought the soundtrack I keep playing that track. Lupin’s and Hagrid’s introduction is quite funny showing how clumsy Hagrid can be. The Quidditch was great even if was short it was stil briliant and it wasn't as always against Slytherin but Hufflepuff. Also I loved how Fred and George had a bigger part and that you can tell how mischievious they are.
I loved the Flying Buckbeak scene the music adds to the feeling of how majestic this creature is. Also when you find out Buckbeak is to be executed you look back on that scene and see how the crying Hagrid feels after the trial. Draco is so much meaner and arrogant in this one also Tom isn’t so stiff jawed now.
When Harry finds out about Sirius being his godfather in the Three Broomsticks the music is heart rendering. You can tell Hermione understands emotions better than Harry and Ron as she comforts Harry afterwards. Her acting has improved so much thanks to Alfonso.
Also Dan’s acting has greatly improved, I really sympathized with him when he is in the astronomy room with Lupin after he had his second attempt at the boggart dementor he talks about his memories of his parents and not even knowing they is they are even true.
The end of the movie the shrieking shack part is great. Gary’s acting is brilliant. The best of the whole cast. You can see the horrors he’s been through in Azkaban. You really see the hatred between him and Snape. Also the hatred between Snape and Harry more outlined.
I loved the shot of Sirius and Harry looking up at the massive Hogwarts whilst Sirius invites Harry to live with him.
The fat Lady (Dawn French) was very funny and although you only saw Sir Cadogan in the background portraits I’m sure he takes over the entrance hall in the deleted scenes as with Sirius slashing Ron’s drapes cos I know he was in it cos you see his name on the end creduts.Also looke carefulluy in the portrait scene and you see a man with a pointed green hat which has a silver slytherin Snake badge attached to it,I reckon this is Phineas Nigellus.Oh and if I'm very much mistaken they have changed Flitwick to have brown hair.
I don’t know where else to put this in my review because it is a small and minor thing but I like it. It was the ghost Horsemen smashing through the window don’t know why I like that but it really stuck with me. Padfoot and the Werewolf were brilliant; the werewolf wasn’t as skinny as I’d thought from the figure. The ending could have been better about the firebolt but it was ok cos the movie needed a bit of a happy lift. But I wanted to see Pig.lol. I promise you won’t be disappointed from the WB logo to the Shot of Harry’s face while riding his Firebolt.
I loved it no matter what anyone says.
