9/10
i would have given it 10 out of 10 but i felt that it was a bit rushed at times, like it has been said before. but some of the changes made weren't as bad as i thought, i didn't like the ending and i think that's the only bit i disagreed with. they could've put the scene where harry gets the firebolt somewhere else, then had the Quidditch Final in or something, 'cos there wasn't enough Quidditch, but what Quidditch that was in was really spectacular.
now the acting has gotten way better, and i mean that. emma watson is probably the most improved, and rupert is as great as ever, his comic timing does lighten the film, but it is nice to have funny moments in an otherwise dark and eery film. daniel is very good, much more like harry and i can only see this trio of actors getting better. tom felton is great as draco and i can;t imagine anyone else playing draco as well as him.
Robbie coltrane is one of the best adult actors in this film, he does bring hagrid alive much more in this film, with the whole buckbeak situation. michael gambon is wonderful as dumbledore. gary oldman and david thewlis are so great as sirius and lupin, they really are these characters, wonderful to see them. alan rickman is as great as ever as Snape and timothy spall as pettigrew was great to see too.
now i think that the dementors were great, 10 out 0f 10 for bringing them to life. they spent 6 months creating them & i think that they needed all that time, but the end product is just how i imagined them and when you see them for the first time, the whole cinema goes quiet and i actually felt cold... Buckbeak was wonderful, very realistic and i thought the werewolf and padfoot were great too.
now, the knight bus is probably one of the best scenes, funny and realistic. the punch scene is very good and the bit where harry/hermione go back in time is very very well done. the fade ins/outs add something to it, very good. also i have to say that the music was wonderful and added to the 'magic' and the tension and just made the film more real and scary at times. so well done to john williams for some more great music.
i am going to see this film again on friday and i am taking my bro' and my dad who
haven't read the book. so i will get them to tell me what they thought and if it made sense then i will post what they said on here,
oh and i just have to say that alfonso has done a wonderful job on this film and i hope he will direct film 5,
