“That, Amber is the doctor that keeps on outshining me. I want to beat him to a diagnosis.” said House.
“House, if you stop being sarcastic, then I’ll help you beat him to the diagnosis,” Amber offered.
“Deal,” he said. Then they looked up the next possible symptoms for Tuberculosis.

Meanwhile, Carlisle heard their conversation on his way to find an empty OR for Bella. ‘So that’s why House is acting odd … well odder than usual, according to Lisa (Cuddy). He’s jealous. That’s why he called back Amber! To beat me to a diagnosis! I’ve been doing this since the late 1800’s! I’d be a werewolf if he beat me to a diagnosis! I’ll check with Alice anyways after,’ he thought.

He found his OR, put the ‘in use’ sign up, ran back with a gurney and brought Bella to the OR. Edward ran with him, at human speed. Edward saw his father cut open Bella, and take out her appendix. It had already exploded inside her, so he thoroughly cleaned up all the toxins. Then he closed the wound, and motioned Edward to come. He did, and together, they went back to the ER. When they came in, Harry was stirring. The medication was finally wearing off. Slowly, he opened his eyes.

Carlisle transferred Bella to the bed, and then attended to Harry.

“Hey Harry,” said Carlisle.
“What happened?” asked Harry sleepily.
“You had appendicitis. I noticed the symptoms and brought you to the OR to remove it. Bella just came out of her operation,” said Carlisle.
“Wha... Bella had an Operation?” he asked, more alert.
“Yes, she did, but she’s better now. She also had appendicitis. I removed it, and she’ll be your roommate until you’re able to go. By the way, House’ll be coming here in about 10 minutes, according to Alice, to question you. Don’t answer honestly, unless it’s about diseases, of course, the muggle ones. If he asks about your family, say the truth, say they died in a car crash,” said Carlisle gently.
Harry just stared.
“What? I’m only putting you on guard, Harry,” said Carlisle, gentler than before. “he can’t know what we really are, otherwise we’ll be put in a cage or something in a zoo.”

Bella groaned.

“Bella’s waking up,” said Edward. He quickly rushed to her side. Harry watched, and Ginny walked in. Ron, Hermione, Neville and Luna went for a coffee, after some serious convincing that Ginny did. She said that she would let them know as soon as she could about Harry.

“Harry! You’re awake!” said Ginny, surprised.
“Hey honey,” said Harry, sounding less tired. A grin was growing on his face.

“Edward?” asked Bella.
“I’m right here, Bells,” Edward said. “How do you feel?”
“Better, that’s for sure,” she said. She looked up happily into his eyes.

For the next few minutes, the two couples were talking. Harry was looking better, and Bella was beginning to smile.

Then Gregory House walked into the room with a new patient.
