I definitely agree that Tonks wouldn't be as fascinating. But, I think she would be very different in general. I think she would definitely be more mature. But, just because she wouldn't have her metamorphmagusing doesn't mean she wouldn't still be clumsy, so I think that would add character as well.
I wonder if she would've still ended up with Lupin (her being an Auror)? I actually think because without her changing all the time and seeking attention, she would be more mature, like I said before. I think he might even go for her sooner because she would have that level of maturity. But, I also think her being a metamorphmagus might be something Lupin would find attractive. She could change the way she looks and on some level he can relate because he changes once a month. So, hmm...I really don't know how their relationship would've played out? |
