I believe Sybill remained as a professor at Hogwarts after the War. She certainly fought to maintain Hogwarts integrity in the final battle, so I can't imagine her leaving it anytime shortly after that. However, it must be admitted that if she wished to leave, there may not be anyone to convince her not to leave, as Dumbledore would have. He had wanted to keep her ability to prophecy (albeit sporadically) and her previous prophecies safe from Voldemort, but now that there is no Dumbledore and no Voldemort, if she wished to leave, I'm sure she would have been free to go pursue whatever she liked.
Perhaps once she'd seen enough devastation and death of colleagues and students, but also the triumph and happiness that followed, she would have had enough of predicting students' deaths and unhappy things, switching to happier or at least more level-emotioned predictions based on the methods. |
