Candy was an extremely organized person, very spic-and-span. Her heels tapped on the floor of the Great Hall as she sat down at the Hufflepuff table with a bunch of her friends. She grabbed a pastry and a cup of coffee. Within moments they were talking and giggling like they had been there for ages. Pretty and popular, and yet single. She wasn't sure why, but she didn't ordinarily care-- except now with the announcement of a dance. How she would love to go! But she would need a date.

Sometimes it was a pain to be so well-brought-up. Ryan was taught to always be early, and even school did not change that about him. He was the first one of his friends to arrive to breakfast. He grabbed a full breakfast meal as he waited for his late, slacker friends to arrive. He thought about this dance they were just being told about. Should he even go? Who would he bring?
