 Shipper Queen Hippie Quad
"Kids! We are leaving in a few minutes! If you are not down here in five minutes you aren't going!" Silvia Edwards called to her children.
"Urg! Im coming!" Samantha called down to her mother. She was so excited to go to Alicia's house for the summer. She loved her mom and dad, but she didnt think she could stand being in the same house as her mom for another day. Her mom could be awfully strict and she loved to clean for the summer. What fun is cleaning the whole summer?
She threw a pair of checkered pajama pants into her backpack and zipped it up. Throwing the backpack onto her back, she made for her bed. On top of the royal blue comforter was a multicolored kitten, fast asleep. Picking up the calico, she rubbed her cheek agiainst her face. "Come on Jersey. Time to go."
As the kitten squirmed in her arms, Sam held on tighter. Jersey didnt like to be held much, but she needed to make sure she was with her before they left. She was going to bring her with them.
Hearing his mother down stairs, Benny got up from the floor of his room and looked over at the six year that had been sitting across from him.
"Time to go Danny. You ready?" he asked his little brother.
Danny looked up at his older brother and let out a big smile. "Yes! Your coming too right?"
"Of course I'm coming." he chuckled. He knew how shy his little brother could be and knew he was going to stick to him like glue through this summer. But hopefully some kids his age would take him into their group, and he could make some friends of his own. He knew his cousin Katie was going to be there. She was a year older than him, but maybe there will be more kids his age.
"I just need to find my hat and we can go." Benny said as he picked up two backpacks, one being his and one belonging to his little brother.
As soon as he said he needed his hat, Danny shot up and ran toward Benny's dresser. He grabbed the blue baseball hat from atop of the dresser and ran it back to Benny. "Thanks Dan Dan." he chuckled, saying his nickname. Danny's cheeks grew pink and Benny couldnt help but laugh some more and pick up his little brother.
He swung him around in a circle, both boys laughing hysterically. Benny then dropped Danny onto his the navy blue bed and ran from the room. The six year kept right behind him and they both made it down the stairs, still laughing like crazy.
Brian Edwards then walked into the room, looking at both his panting boys and a smile spread onto his face. "You take care of your brother while you are there." he said. But he didnt say it in a parental way, it was a caring way. Their dad was a very caring man.
"Samantha Edwards! We are leaving!" Silvia yelled up the stair case.
"I'm coming!" Sam said, a little agitated that her mother had said her full name. She walked down the stairs carefully and took a hold of her mother's hand, shifting Jersey in her other hand.
She knew Danny and Benny were positioning themselves with their dad and the five of them apparated.
Sam reopened her eyes to see that they were in Madrid. She was actually in Spain! She gave a her mother a kiss on the cheek and did the same to her father. "See you in a few weeks!" she said.
She then wondered off to find her friends. She found Alexis and Savannah first. "Lexi! Vannah!" she said happily.
Benny looked over at Danny as soon as the made it to Spain. He knew that he didnt like apparating much. They werent even there two seconds before Sam took off to find her friends. He let out a chuckle and walked over to his mother.
"Bye mum. See you when summer is over." he said. Silvia gave her son a kiss on the cheek and told him to watch over Danny. She was worried he was going to get homesick. She almost didnt let him come, but Benny had talked her into it.
He then said his goodbyes to his father and bent down to Danny's level. "You want a piggy back ride?" he asked him with a smile. He could already tell the six year old was nervous. Danny nodded and climbed onto his brother's back. Benny made sure he was on, then made his way to the house.
