Construction has commenced on the Universal Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, which is scheduled to open in 2009. Construction walls have been pictured popping up in the Lost Continent section of the theme park over the last 3 weeks.

As they are in the early stages of preparation, the images show mainly fences, earth and trucks. Foundation work is expected to start in January, with the actual construction of Hogwarts castle taking place in the early spring of next year. By this time next year, they hope to have the castle built.
