Hogwarts RPG Name: Sylvannas Quickspeed Sixth | Chapter 2 Jeremy watched Draco say good-bye to Julius and Isabella, then ignore him again. Jeremy sighed, looking at the Gryffindor badge on his chest. This was another mark against him. He knew his mother had been in Gryffindor( in fact, she had been the smartest witch in her age.), and his father in Slytherin. His need to be like his mother had been stronger than his need to fit in with his strange family, and the Sorting Hat had put him in Gryffindor. Although Jeremy fet sad from being away from Bella, inside he was secretly relieved. The Tower had given him a place to be away from Julius and his friends.
"Jeremy, shouldn't you be going back to your Common Room now?" Bella asked him quietly, out of Julius' ear-shot.
"I suppose so. 'Night Bella." He gave his cousin a hug. She returned it, tears in her eyes.
"Jerry, I'm sorry they're mean to you." Bella whispered to him. Jeremy nodded and left.
"Don't baby him sis." Julius said loudly as Jeremy left. "God knows Gryffindor's got enough of those."
Jeremy paused, then wiped his eyes. He put his head down and left the Common Room. Bella turned to her brother and smacked him.
"Stop it! Why do you have to be such a turd about Jeremy? Just because he's not a blood member of our family?"
"Exactly." Julius wiped his mouth where his sister struck him. "He doens't belong with us. I mean, look at him. He's in Gryffindor! Talk about weird."
"That's no reason to keep putting him down all the time." Bella defended him. "It's not in his blood to be in Slytherin."
"Lamark was in Slytherin." Julius said smugly. Isabella rolled her eyes.
"But Hermione was in Gryffindor! Jerry takes after his mother! And I'm glad. Hermione was supposed to be the smartest witch of the age. smarter than mum OR dad." Julius narrowed his eyes.
"No mudblood is smarter than dad. NO ONE." He growled. Bella gave him a funny look.
"Knock it off, or I'll tell mum." Julius growled again, then left to his dorm. A few moments later, Isabella followed.

Jeremy reached his destination in about ten minutes, dear readers. He got there safe and sound, in spite of Peeves rigging up a new prank. He even felt good, even though his foster brother was speaking poorly of him. Could he sense Bella defending him? No. It was just a feeling he had, my readers.
And now we come to his home, the only home he's known where he is accepted by everybody. Even more so, because of his mother. This Tower was the place where he felt worthy. Because of his mother's legacy.
"Hey, it's Donaldson. Hey Jerry!" A black haired boy called from the fireplace. "I saved us the good chairs!"
"Hey, shouldn't you be alseep? The Common Room's almost empty!" It was. Jeremy took the seat next to the boy. "Why are you up so late Richie?"
"Waiting for you to get back from that Common Room." The girl next to him shuddered. "Honestly Jerry, why do you go over there?"
"Because they're my-" Jeremy started to say, but Richie quickly cut him off.
"Don't say family. They're not your family. We're more related than you are to them!" Richie said. "Besides, they always tease you over there. Why do you insist on going by yourself?"
"Because Bella still treats me like a family member. Alsway defending me and all. I feel obligated to visit her, even if it means running into Julius." Jeremy defended himself.
"Sherry, can you believe this?" Richie asked the girl. "Honestly?"
"Sure can. Family's important, even if they're not family." Sherry said. Now, let's describe her, so you can get a look. She has short blonde hair the color of corn, with bright green eyes. She always had a smile on her face, except when she was serious. There was no smile on her face now.
"That doesn't make any sense." Richie said good-naturedly. Richie has rather longish black hair and deep black eyes. He's fairly tall, with little ropes of muscle everywhere. Not a jock, but not a nerd either, he has a presense that makes people stop and listen.
"Whatever guys. She's still a family member, even if we're not related. She's still important to me." Jeremy finished. Jeremy had grown up to look like Lamark. He had Brown hair like Hermione's, but it was neat. He had Lamark's sharp features, and Lamark's big brown eyes. Girls liked to follow Jeremy around, but Jeremy wasn't to hip on it.
"Alright then. Hey, did you see Felicia following you yesterday? Man, she's got it bad." Richie changed the subject. "Wish I had your talent."
"It's not a talent, it's a nuisence. I wish she'd follow you instead of me." Jeremy argued. Sherry got up quickly.
"Boy-talk. I'm outta here. I can stand it during the day, but not at one a.m. Later." Sherry made her way up to the girls dorm. Richie and Jeremy shrugged, and went o bed as well.
