The release date for the Chinese translation of
Deathly Hallows has been
announced as October 28th. People's Literature Publishing House have confirmed that the translators, Ma Ainong and Ma Aixin, completed their work after three months - the book has now been delivered for printing. The first print-run will consist of 1 million copies.
In order for fans to be able to differentiate between legitimate novels and pirate ones, the official
Deathly Hallows will contain summaries of the previous six books, and will cost more. 7,000 copies have already been pre-ordered, exceeding the 5,900 figure for
Half-Blood Prince. It is expected that the total sales prior to release will amount to 10,000.
