This is gonna be my fourth FF and I’m excited! This FF is about a girl named Lorraine Lively and a boy named Corey Kessler. They’ve been enemies since forever. They’ve been opposites for a loooonnnnggg time. Lorraine’s in Gryffindor and Corey’s in Slytherin. Lorraine rarely ever gets in trouble and Corey always gets in trouble. Lorraine loves homework and reading and Corey despises it. It’s always been this way. But what happens, when Lorraine and Corey discover they have feelings for each other? But no way are they going to admit that! So through a long time of fights, love spats, and denial, will they be able to admit their love for each other? And will things turn out as they wished?

Beginning of Last Year
Chapter 1
Lorraine crossed the barrier and onto platform 9¾. She looked around and spotted her friend Carl Asher, and his twin brother Cameron. You can always tell the difference between them by their hair. Carl has dark brown hair and Cameron has bright blonde/brown hair.
Lorraine walked slowly to them and said, “Hey.” Cameron just nodded his head, but Carl’s a whole ‘nother story. Carl hugged Lorraine really hard and said, “Thank goodness you’re here! Old Cammie here is killing me!”
Lorraine raised her eyebrows and split herself apart from Carl. “Okay… what’s up?”
“Cammie’s being a weirdo!” Carl said and then was slapped on the head by Cameron.
Lorraine cleared her throat and said, “Okay… weird.”
Carl nodded his head in agreement and said, “Tell me about it!” Lorraine rolled her eyes.
Cameron put his arm around Carl’s shoulder and said, “Hello Lively.”
“Hello Asher,” she replied. “You know, we should get going, Carl. It’s about time we boarded.” Carl muttered, “Dang!” and Cameron nodded his head. “Carl doesn’t want to go to school,” Cameron explained. Lorraine nodded her head slowly.
“C’mon!” she said and dragged Carl and Cameron over to the train. They lifted their luggage up and put it onto the train. Then they boarded the train. Cameron went his own way, while Carl and Lorraine found an empty compartment all to themselves.
Lorraine seated herself next to the window and Carl sat across from her. Lorraine pulled out a book from her slinging bag; she brought on the train with her, and began reading. Carl rolled his eyes and took the book away from her. “Hey!” she said. “What’d you do that for?!”
Carl replied, “Don’t get all dorky on me on the train. Not even in Hogwarts! You can only be all bookwormish in the library!” Lorraine raised her eyebrows with her arms crossed.
“You done?” she asked. Carl gave her a blank stare. The compartment door opened. It was Griffin Cartwright, one of Lorraine’s best friends. “Hey!” she said and held her hand up for a high-five.
Griffin gave her a high-five and sat down next to her. “Lorraine. Carl,” he said, nodding his head at each name.
“How’s mah man?!” Carl asked enthusiastically.
Griffin just smiled and replied, “Doing great.”
“Where were you? We came on the same ride,” Lorraine asked. Lorraine and Griffin both lived in the orphanage, the local orphanage in London. They both received a ride by the orphanage owner’s daughter, Melissa.
“Oh, I was talking to some people. Then I was caught in between a conversation that Corey and Cameron were having,” he replied.
“Corey? As in Corey Kessler?” Lorraine asked in almost pure disbelief. Griffin and Carl didn’t know why.
“Yeah…” Griffin said slowly. “How many Coreys do you know?!”
Lorraine rolled her eyes. “Only the one,” she said simply and took her book from Carl.
Griffin pointed his finger at the book Lorraine was holding, and asked, “What’s the book?”
“Tales of the Ancient Men, telling about vampires, werewolves, etc.” she replied.
Griffin nodded his head. “Oh… that book! Could I borrow that after you? I’ve always wanted to read it, but I never had the chance.”
“Sure,” Lorraine said. The compartment door opened once more.
“Hello.” It was Lorraine’s closest friend ever, May Serobie. May sat down next to Carl and crossed her legs. “How was summer?” she asked.
Lorraine groaned. “That terrible, huh?” May asked.
“Not just terrible! Horrifying! I had to baby-sit every day while Mr. Cartwright here got to go muggle skateboarding. All I was able to go to, were the fairs, swimming pools, the zoo, the library, and that’s all!” Lorraine groaned.
Griffin let out a small smile. “It wasn’t bad. I had to baby-sit too and you were allowed to go skateboarding… other places too!”
Lorraine sighed and replied, “But you got to go more than I did. Please don’t tell me that it has something to do with gender…”
Griffin was taken aback and shook his head vigorously. “Of course not!” he said. “It’s just-Well-It’s-Forget it! I’m not gonna even explain!”
Lorraine smiled and leaned back. “Very well then,” she said. Shortly after she said those words, she and Griffin were jerked forward while May and Carl was jerked backwards. The train was starting to move towards Hogwarts. This would be the last time they’d be getting ready for Hogwarts. It was an awfully unnatural feeling.
“So…” May said, interrupting the silence. “I hear that the muggle computers in the libraries are installing Internet and that they’re placing about 10 of their own computer labs in the library.”
Lorraine nodded her head and said, “Yeah. I heard.”
The compartment door slid open and Lorraine saw the last person that she wanted to see in the world.
“What do you want Kessler?” she asked coldly.
Corey just smiled evilly. “Oh, just looking for a compartment that has a room for four,” he said as Cameron, Tyler Brokman, and Alexander Romora appeared next to him.
Lorraine groaned and said firmly, “Fine!” Corey and his gang smiled as they sat down. Corey seated himself next to Griffin with Cameron next to him and with Tyler and Alex next to May.
