[color="SeaGreen"][ Hey what’s up, my names Laura. This is my first FF and sadly I don’t own the Harry Potter characters J. K. Rowling does. Ok, I am guilty of Mary Sue-ing, but just read a little bit and I think you’ll like it. It’s about a girl named Delilah in her 3rd year, who is a beater on the Slythrin team (and for those of you who are a little slow out there yes, she is a Slythrin.) She finally realizes she likes Draco Malfoy when she sees him with another girl. Draco likes her back, but has pretty much given up, because Delilah has never had a boyfriend. I am Princess Drama Queen (lol) so it’s better than it sounds. I’m also a lot younger than y’all so bare with me. Ok, here goes.
That’s What Girls Do
Delilah Steppe a 3rd year Slythrin beater who took pride in her wavy, bleach, blonde hair and dark brown eyes, had never really thought much of boys. Her best friends Kara, Amanda, and Jenny were the same way. Delilah did well in almost everything she did, because there was no one to distract her. That is until one day in the courtyard…
Delilah and her girls were standing around chatting while Filch checked everyone’s forms for Hogsmeade.
“I can’t wait to go to Quality Quidditch Supplies, Devin and Carter say it’s great…” Delilah was saying when she had spotted Draco Malfoy across the courtyard. But he wasn’t alone, there was a girl-in Delilah’s opinion-making a fool of her self, hanging all over him and giggling.
“Who is that?!?” demanded Delilah.
“Oh, I think that’s Draco’s new girlfriend, Alexis Emerich.” replied Amanda. Alexis Emerich was- to most girls who knew her- the biggest cow any of them have ever met. Every time Alexis saw another girl getting her flirt on she suddenly become interested in the guy. Any boy in her year or the two above were “her turf.”
Delilah felt rage surge though her and white hot adrenalin pulse through her veins. That nasty little cow, get away from him! Delilah thought and whipped out her wand. She was pointing it at Alexis when she caught herself. What would Draco think if she hexed his total cow of a girlfriend? Delilah lowered her arm, all of her friends were staring at her.
“Lilah, are you ok?” Jenny asked, but Delilah wasn’t listening. Alexis was leaning in to kiss him. Without realizing it, Delilah screamed at the top of lungs. The world seemed to freeze for a second, she saw Draco’s face puzzled, Alexis looked murderous, and everyone else was just shocked. Then time snapped back into action and all the students were looking around to see who had screamed.
“What the heck, Lilah?” Kara said exasperated. Filch had just told everyone to head down to Hogsmeade, so Delilah squeezed away from her friends. As she entered the village and slowed down she saw Draco and Alexis standing too close from comfort. Delilah walked right between them being careful to stomp on Alexis’s foot. But then something strange happened when she turned to Draco. Delilah felt a weight drop into her stomach and had the urge to wrap herself in him. Her eyes filled with tears at the thought and noticing she had been staring at Draco for way too long snapped herself out of it. Delilah hurried down the street, trying not to look back. She entered the Three Broomsticks and took a table in the back.Let it go, Delilah, he has a girlfriend. [/i]
