I have almost finished writing this story. And after reading the last book I was not going to continue but then I thought why not.

They arrived at Platform nine and three quarters the next day with twenty minutes to spare. They stowed their luggage onto the train and came back onto the platform to say their goodbyes, they milled around talking until the whistle on the train sounded and they boarded the train and waved goodbye. Ron and Hermione headed off to the Prefects carriage, Ginny went off to sit with her boyfriend Dean and Harry and Sarina proceeded down the train looking for an empty compartment. Once they had found one they went inside and sat down on the seats.

“Ooh Harry a compartment to ourselves, whatever can we do to pass the time away” she said slyly fluttering her eyelashes at him.

“You’re a nut” he laughed.

“I know but you love me anyway”

“Yes I do very much”

“Then stop talking and kiss me” she whispered.

He took her in his arms and they kissed passionately, they were so engrossed in each other they didn’t hear someone come in to the compartment.

They gave a cough and said “Excuse me I’m sorry to disturb you but everywhere else is full.”

Harry and Sarina looked up to see a red faced Neville Longbottom standing there.

“Sorry Neville didn’t hear you come in, of course you can share our compartment” Sarina said airily trying not to laugh at Neville’s obvious embarrassment.

They spent the next hour talking about the holidays and their O.W.L results. Sarina was just coming back from the bathroom and was entering the compartment when she noticed a group of girls standing there and heard one of them say:

“Hi Harry, I’m Romilda Vane” she said loudly “why don’t you join us in our compartment? You don’t have to sit in here” she added nodding towards Neville.

Sarina brushed passed the group and sat down beside Harry putting her arm around him and said.

“Ooh Harry it looks like I’ve got competition” nodding her head towards the other girls.

“Oh I’m sorry I um I didn’t realise you two were….” Romilda stammered backing out of the compartment with her friends.

Sarina laughed “Looks like I’ve got my work cut out for me this year, keeping the hoards of girls away.”

“Oh very funny” Harry said taking a playful swipe at her.

Ron and Hermione joined them a little while later with some interesting news for Harry.

“Guess what?” said Ron unwrapping a chocolate frog. “Malfoy’s not doing his Prefect duties; he’s just sitting in his compartment.”

Harry sat up straight in his seat a look of interest on his face “Wonder what he’s up to now.”

Before he had time to think about it one of the younger students came into the compartment “I’m supposed to give these to Neville Longbottom and Harry P-Potter” she stammered and going red in the face.

Sarina rolled her eyes and looked over Harry’s shoulder “What is it?”

“An invitation for supper with Professor Slughorn” Harry answered showing her the paper.

“Teacher’s pet” she said laughing as Harry and Neville got up and left the compartment.

After a few hours Neville returned to the compartment just as they were pulling into Hogsmeade Station.

“Where’s Harry?” Sarina asked looking at Neville.

“He wanted to see what Malfoy was up to and hid under his Invisibility Cloak” Neville told her.

“He’s a magnet for trouble that boy” groaned Sarina “Well he better hurry up, we have to get off the train.”

Ron and Hermione went off to fulfil their Prefect duties, Neville helped Sarina put the luggage out onto the platform and then grabbed Trevor and left Sarina went back into the compartment to wait for Harry. After a few minutes when she could no longer here people on the train she decided to go and see if he had got off at the other end of the train. Once she was on the platform she looked around for Harry but she couldn’t see him anywhere. Through the crowd of people she saw Draco Malfoy step off the train with a smug look on his face, she shook her head and got back onto the train.

She walked down the aisle of the train towards the compartment Malfoy was in and noticed that the shade was pulled down. She opened the door and walked in, she felt her foot bump something she leaned over and pulled at the Invisibility Cloak. Harry was underneath frozen and with blood all over him, she took out her wand and said the counter-curse. Harry was able to move into a sitting position, Sarina handed him his robes.

“Are you okay Harry?”

“Yeah I’m fine” he grunted “Thank you for coming to get me.”

“My pleasure, come on the train’s about to leave.”

They jumped off the train onto the platform and watched as the last carriage left.

“Great” muttered Harry angrily.

“Come on lets go, we’ll have to run before they lock the gates” said Sarina urgently.

They took off at a fast pace running up the hill towards the castle, I won’t have to do any exercise for a year after this Sarina thought her breathing growing laboured and a stitch in her side. They reached the gates just as they were closing and slipped through. They were bent over their hands on their knees trying to catch their breaths.

“We better get you straight up to the Hospital Wing and get your nose fixed” Sarina panted.

“Thank you again” he said breathlessly “You’re always there to get me out of trouble.”

“Yeah and here comes more trouble” she said nodding towards the castle. “It’s Snape.”

“Oh this day is just getting better” Harry spat.

An idea came to Sarina, where it came from she did not know all she knew was that it could work and she could get them both out of trouble.

“Let me do the talking okay, Harry.”

He was about to say something more when Snape was upon them.

“Why are you two late – explain yourselves” Snape sneered.

“Well you see Professor” Sarina began giving Harry a warning look to keep quiet “I was trying to get my trunk down from the overhead compartment when it fell and hit Harry. It knocked him out for a few minutes and broke his nose, I tried to get help but the carriages had already left so I stayed with him until he came around and we walked up here” Sarina explained.

Harry looked down at the ground holding his nose with his hand. He had to give it to Sarina that was some story but there was no way Snape was going to buy it.

“That is the most ridiculous story I have ever heard Taylor, you don’t expect me to swallow that tripe do you” said Snape coldly.

“It is the truth” she said defiantly.

“We’ll see” Snape hissed.

He looked her straight in the eyes, muttering under his breath, she stared back at him and felt her vision blur for a moment and then the picture became clear. Snape stared into her eyes for a few minutes and then broke the connection. He looked at her with calculating eyes and his lip curled into a sneer that he was so famous for.

“I still don’t believe your story, I think you are hiding something” he seethed.

Sarina gave him a hard look “But can you prove it” whispered Sarina “Especially since the magic you just used is against school rules” she raised her eyebrows at him.

His cold eyes glinted dangerously and his body seemed to swell with fury. “Get out of my sight the both of you” Snape spat.

Sarina pulled Harry by the robes and they raced up the stairs and into the Entrance Hall and then proceeded to the Hospital Wing. They waited until they were a few floors up and away from Snape before they spoke.

“How did you do that?” asked Harry, stopping in the middle of the corridor and staring at Sarina.

“I honestly don’t know Harry, when I seen Snape coming towards us the idea just came to me. So when I told him that story it became etched in my mind and as you know Snape can tell when you are lying but this time he couldn’t, I don’t know it was weird” said Sarina quietly.

“All that time I had to put up with Snape giving me Occulmency lessons and I could have just had you teach me” muttered Harry.

“Like I said Harry that was the first time I have ever done it and to be quite honest I don’t if I ever will be able to do it again. It’s just something that came over me at the time” she told him.

After a moment’s silence she added “Come on let’s go and get that nose fixed, I’m starving”. As they continued onto the Hospital Wing Sarina was lost in thought how did I manage to fool Snape with magic I never knew I could do.

The next morning the group could be found in the Great Hall finishing off breakfast as Professor McGonagall came down to give them their timetables. Once they had all received their timetables Hermione took off for her first class leaving Sarina, Harry and Ron at the table.

“So what are we going to do on our first free class?” asked Ron.

“I don’t…..” Harry started to say but stopped when he noticed someone standing behind Sarina.
“Sorry to interrupt hello Harry and Ron.” Sarina turned around to face the speaker, it was Anthony Goldstein.

“Hello Anthony” she said brightly.

“Hi Sarina” said Anthony a smile lighting up on his face and a pink tinge on his cheeks.

“Uh we were just wondering most of the sixth years that are in the Charms Club have a free period now and we thought we might get together now and get the Club up and ready early this year.”

“Oh right, hang on” Sarina turned back to Harry and noticed that he had a slight scowl on his face. “You didn’t have anything planned did you?”

“No you go ahead, I’ll see you next lesson” mumbled Harry.

“Okay thanks” she leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek and whispered in his ear “I love you.”

Harry smiled and felt his worries slip away at her words “I love you too” he whispered back.

He watched her walk off with Anthony and then turned back to Ron. “Do you want to go back to the Common Room?”

“Yeah might as well” Ron said getting up from the table.

The rest of the day passed quickly and the group were heading back from dinner to the Common Room to start on their mountains of homework. Just as they were sitting down at a table Jack Sloper came over and gave Harry a roll of parchment in which he quickly opened and read.

“My first lesson with Dumbledore is on this Saturday, good I won’t have to do Snape’s detention” said Harry.

“Looks like that little bottle of lucky potion is working already” laughed Sarina.

Harry and Ron joined in laughing as well, but Hermione wore a scowl on her face.

“Aww come on Hermione let it go it’s just a text book you’re still the best in the year” said Sarina soothingly.

“Let’s get started on our homework shall we” she sniffed.

The other three looked at each other and had to duck their heads so Hermione wouldn’t see them laughing.

The next two weeks went by in a blur for Sarina what with all the work they were receiving in class and her activities in the Charms Club she wasn’t able to spend as much time with Harry as she would have liked. Now Quidditch was about to start, trials were being held that morning.

They headed down to the pitch after breakfast and Sarina and Hermione made their way over to the stands.

“This is quite a large turnout isn’t it” Sarina said looking over the crowd of hopefuls.

“Yes but I don’t think that most of them are here for Quidditch” remarked Hermione nodding towards a group of giggling girls who were pointing at Harry and whispering.

“Looks like you’ve got competition Sarina” said Hermione raising her eyebrows at her.

Sarina laughed “I’m not worried Hermione I trust Harry completely, let them have their fantasies.”

The try outs took most of the morning and then finally it was the keeper’s turn. The first few applicants were appalling, and then Cormac McLaggen flew up to the goalposts he saved the first four goals and as the last ball came his way he sped off in the wrong direction.

Sarina leaned back in her seat a sly smile on her face. “I seen that Hermione, tut tut that’s interfering.”

“Oh shoosh” Hermione whined “just don’t say anything.”

“I’m not going to say anything, the guy’s an idiot we don’t want him on the team anyway” remarked Sarina.

Now it was Ron’s turn and as he flew up to the goalposts a voice called out in the stands;

“Good luck Ron.”

Sarina and Hermione turned around to see Lavender Brown with a look of embarrassment on her face.

“Looks like I’m not the only one who’s got competition” Sarina said and looking at Hermione with her eyebrows raised.

“Oh shut up” snapped Hermione as Sarina laughed.

Mid way through October was the first trip to Hogsmeade, they stood outside waiting for Filch to finish checking everyone with his Secrecy Sensor and as soon as he was finished they set off the wind was howling and it was bitterly cold. The trip into Hogsmeade was not fun so they decided to go to the Three Broomsticks for a warm drink as they didn’t feel like walking the streets in the cold. They had just reached the door to the pub when they noticed Mundungus Fletcher outside; they had just started talking to him when the next moment Harry had him by the throat pinned against the wall and his wand pointing in his face.

“What did you do, go back the night he died and strip the place?” snarled Harry.

“Harry!” squealed Hermione.

“Give it to me!”

“Do something” shouted Hermione whirling on Sarina.

Sarina stood there with her arms folded looking coldly at Mundungus, she knew that if someone didn’t step in soon Harry might do something stupid but it would serve him right the thieving low life. She sighed and took a step towards Harry when a loud bang sounded and Harry’s hands flew off Mundungus and he seized his case and Disapparated. Harry spun on the spot ranting at the top of his voice.

Tonks appeared by his side “he’s gone now Harry, so you can stop yelling and go inside and get out of the cold” she said.

They all took a seat near the back of the pub and Hermione went off to get the drinks as she returned to the table Harry was still ranting.

“I know what he did was wrong Harry but you just can’t go around attacking people either and why didn’t you step in and stop him Sarina?” said Hermione irritably.

“I’m his girlfriend Hermione not his keeper, he’s a big boy” snapped Sarina. “And besides that was actually the sexiest thing I ever seen, seeing Harry take control like that” she added.

“Let’s go back to school” Harry said quickly as Hermione opened her mouth to retort, he didn’t need the girls bickering.

They left the Three Broomsticks and as they rounded a corner in the lane they saw Katie Bell and her friend fighting over a package, it fell to the ground and Katie rose in the air and started screaming. They ran over to help and got there just in time as Katie fell to the ground. Harry ran to get help and returned moments later with Hagrid, he picked her up and carried her back to the castle the others following.

The following morning the whole school had heard the news of Katie being cursed.

“I’m telling you Malfoy had something to do with it” muttered Harry to Ron and Hermione.

“You heard what McGonagall said, Harry he wasn’t even in Hogsmeade yesterday’ said Hermione through gritted teeth “Will you talk some sense into him Sarina.”

“Why is it just because I am Harry’s girlfriend I have to control everything he does” snapped Sarina. “And if you must know I agree with Harry, Malfoy may not have given Katie the package himself but he had a hand in it.”

Hermione rolled her eyes “You have no proof of that.”

“No we don’t but Harry has a gut instinct about it and that’s good enough for me” Sarina said smartly. “Come on Harry you promised me a walk in the grounds.”

They walked down to the lake the wind had died out from the bluster it was blowing from the day before but the air still had a chill in it.

“It’s nice to finally have some time to ourselves” said Sarina shivering slightly from the cold.

“Yeah I know what you mean” he said wrapping her up in his arms. “With Quidditch, you’re Charms Club and classes there seem to be no time left.”

“We’ll just have to try and set a few hours a week aside for just you and me” she said softly.

“Sounds good to me” he said huskily.

He drew her in closer and brought his lips to hers, the kiss was soft and gentle. She took the initiative this time and parted her lips wider and slid her tongue into his mouth, she flicked it around teasing him she heard a deep moan come from him and he pushed her gently against the tree and pressed his body against hers they were so close you couldn’t fit a fingernail between them. The kiss intensified and Sarina felt as though a small explosion had taken place in the pit of her stomach and sent tingles through the rest of her body. She lightly placed her hand on his chest and was surprised to feel how hot it was as though an electric surge was coursing through his body she felt the charge go through her fingers and travel to the rest of her body. He pulled away from the kiss gently but still held her tightly. She was breathless and could still feel that surge running though her, she felt strong and powerful as though she could do anything. She was confused by this it was the same feeling she had when she had produced that magic against Snape only this time the feeling was stronger. She looked up at Harry to ask if he was feeling the same thing but he was smiling at her and moving in for another kiss, she put it out of her mind and thought that she would try and figure it out later.

Unbeknown to both Harry and Sarina they were being watched, Draco Malfoy stood a hundred feet away behind a tree watching the pair with narrowed eyes.

“Enjoy it while it lasts” Draco muttered to himself. “But I think it’s time to break up this happy union.”

He walked out from behind the tree and headed back towards the castle time to put my other mission into action he thought.

Over the next few weeks Sarina and Harry were still finding it difficult to set out time for each other. They decided to meet each other after Harry’s Quidditch practice and Sarina’s Charms Club it only gave them a few minutes alone together but it was better than nothing.

Harry was waiting for Sarina outside the room where she had her Charms Club; the crowd filed out of the room all but Sarina and Anthony Goldstein who were still inside talking. Harry rocked back and forth on his feet his impatience growing; finally they came out of the room.

“See you Thursday Sarina” Anthony said giving her a light pat on the shoulder.

Harry felt the jealous monster erupt in his stomach and it took all his effort not to punch Anthony and when he said “Goodnight Harry” he merely grunted a response.

Sarina walked over to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. “What’s the matter with you?” she asked noticing the look on Harry’s face.

“He fancies you” growled Harry.

“What – Anthony, no he doesn’t” Sarina laughed.

“Yes he does, I see the way he looks at you and the way he’s always patting you on arm or the back. That’s why he keeps you back after every meeting so he can have some time with you” Harry fumed.

“Harry look at me” she said softly. He turned and looked at her his blood still pounding in his ears. “It’s you I love and only you and if it makes you feel better then I’ll come straight out after the meetings okay. You have nothing to worry about.”

He calmed down and then felt ashamed about his outburst. “I’m sorry you don’t have to do that, I’m just overreacting.”

“Come on lets go” said Sarina smiling.

Saturday came with the first game of the Quidditch season Gryffindor versus Slytherin. The game was very intense and very exciting, Ron had an absolute blinder he didn’t miss a single goal. Gryffindor won after Harry caught the Snitch and the crowd were going wild.

Sarina came into the changing rooms just as Ron was storming out. “Congratulations Ron you played incredible.”

“Yes well not according to Miss High and Mighty over there” he raged and stomped off back up to the castle.

“What’s the matter with Ron?” Sarina asked.

“Well he and uh….” Harry looked at Hermione.

“He’s being a prat that’s what” snapped Hermione.

“Oh right” said Sarina sympathetically. “Er Harry they’re having a party up in the Common Room for the team, why don’t you go and I’ll stay here with Hermione.”

“No Sarina you and Harry go, I’ll be up in a little while I just want a moment alone” she sobbed.

“I think I should stay…”

“Go, just go please” she cried waving her hand at them.

They left her uncertainly and walked back up to the Common Room, the party was in full swing by the time they got there. There was a loud cheer for Harry when they walked into the room, Sarina made her way over to the food table while Harry was replaying the match to some of the guys, he made his way over to her a little while later.

“Have you seen Ron?” he asked.

“No I…..” but she was cut short as a crowd of people moved and they got a clear view of Ron and Lavender Brown in a passionate embrace. Sarina turned to Harry with her eyebrows raised and noticed Hermione running back out of the portrait hole, Harry had also seen her.

“I think I better go” said Sarina with a hand on Harry’s arm. “I think this needs a girl’s touch.”

She climbed out through the portrait hole and walked down the corridor until she found Hermione sitting in one of the empty classrooms.

“Hermione” said Sarina softly as she entered the room. “Are you okay?”

“I’m fine” she said in a forced airy tone. “The party was just a bit too loud – you know.”

“Hermione he’s just trying to make you jealous that’s all, you don’t think he really likes Lavender do you?”

“Hey he can go out with whomever he pleases – I really don’t care” said Hermione trying to choke back a sob.

“Right whatever you say” whispered Sarina.

Christmas was almost upon them and Sarina found there was even less time to spend with Harry now that Ron and Hermione were not talking to each other, trying to be a supportive friend she was spending more time with Hermione so that she wasn’t feeling left out. She had arranged for Harry to meet her at the library so that they could steal a few moments alone together. She looked at her watch he was late what’s keeping him she thought.

Harry tore out of the portrait hole and took off towards the library; he was running late he was supposed to have met with Sarina fifteen minutes ago. He rounded the corner into the corridor of the library and stopped dead there leaning against the wall and kissing like there was no tomorrow was Anthony and Sarina. Harry felt as though someone had just punched him in the stomach, he reached and grabbed the wall for support he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Sarina his Sarina in the arms of another guy he retreated back out of the corridor and ran back to the Common Room feeling sick.

Sarina climbed through the portrait hole twenty minutes later and seen Harry sitting by the fire with Ron, she walked over to him and bent down to give him a kiss on the cheek but he moved his head out of the way and looked at her angrily.

“Harry what’s wrong?” she asked alarmed at his attitude.

“Like you don’t know” he spat angrily. “Hope you’re pleased with yourself you’ve managed to make a fool of me”. With that he stomped off to the dormitory leaving Sarina open mouthed and a hurt expression on her face.

She turned to Ron “What’s going on?”

“He saw you outside the library kissing Anthony Goldstein” yelled Ron.

“No I wasn’t, I was waiting for……..”

“He saw you with his own two eyes Sarina, how do you explain that” and he too went off to the dormitory.

Sarina sat down on the chair everybody in the Common Room was staring at her. What just happened how Harry could think she would kiss another guy it was him she loved.
