Well here is more of the story. I do wish there were more readers for this story.

The rest of the trip went by without anymore incidents and before she knew it the train was slowing down and then came to a complete stop. Ron and Hermione went off to show the first years where to go. Harry, Neville, Ginny and Sarina jumped onto the platform and headed over to the carriages they stood by a carriage waiting for Ron and Hermione, when they saw them coming Sarina, jumped in the carriage with Neville and Ginny followed by Hermione, Harry and Ron were still outside talking.

“Are you two coming or not” Hermione snapped.

The ride up to the castle was quite bumpy, Sarina looked out the window and got her first look at Hogwarts, Harry was right it was beautiful.

They jumped out of the carriages once they had stopped and dashed up the stairs into the Entrance Hall. Sarina had just got a glimpse of the inside when someone tapped her on the shoulder; she turned and was face to face with a stern looking witch.

“Miss Taylor, I am Professor McGonagall you will need to come with me, so we can sort you before the first years get here” she ordered.

“Oh right” Sarina mumbled, she looked nervously over at the others.

“You’ll be fine Sarina, we’ll save you a seat” Harry whispered.

“You don’t know what house I’ll be in” she wailed.
“You will be a Gryffindor, I just know it” he said simply.

She followed Professor McGonagall into an empty room off the entrance, Professor McGonagall pointed to a stool.

“Sit down there Miss Taylor and put this hat on your head, it will tell you which house you will belong to” she barked.

Sarina sat down on the stool and took the hat from Professor McGonagall; she hesitated for a second then brought the hat up towards her head. It had barely touched her hair when it shouted out “GRYFFINDOR”. Sarina almost cried with relief.

“Okay Miss Taylor you may now join your fellow Gryffindors for the feast” Professor McGonagall gave her a thin smile.

Sarina ran out of the room across the Entrance Hall and over to the Great Hall. She stopped at the doors and looked around for her friends, she spotted Harry waving at her and she made her way over to their table. She could feel people staring at her and whispering, but she didn’t care nothing could take away her happiness right now. She sat down beside Hermione and across from Harry.

“Well it’s official, I am a Gryffindor” she said breathlessly.

“Congratulations Sarina” Hermione said, she turned to Harry “how were you so sure she’d be a Gryffindor Harry”? She asked him.

“Because she’s got all the makings of a Gryffindor” Harry replied his eyes twinkling and he gave Sarina a wink.

Hermione eyed the both of them carefully for a moment, but she didn’t say anything. Draco sat across the hall at the Slytherin table also eying Harry and Sarina and he did not like what he saw, he would have to try a different approach with her. After the feast had finished they went up to their dormitories to go to bed. It had been a big day for Sarina and she was quite tired, she bade the others goodnight.

The next morning they all headed down to breakfast together. They sat there talking about Umbridge’s speech the night before and what her lessons would be like and where Hagrid could be and hoping there was nothing wrong.

“I was really looking forward to meeting him, after everything Harry’s told me about him” Sarina said.

“Yeah he’s great” Harry said absently “I wish everyone would stop staring and whispering” he added angrily.

“Well your going to have to get used to it” Hermione said matter of factly “until you know who comes out into the open people are going to keep wondering whether it’s true or not” she finished in a whisper.

Harry pushed his plate away angrily how much more of this was he going to have to put up with. Before he could dwell on the problem anymore Professor McGonagall was now moving along the table handing out the timetables.

“This has got to be one of the worst Monday’s I’ve ever seen” Ron moaned looking at his timetable as they made their way to History of Magic.

After class had finished they were standing out in the courtyard during break talking, when Cho Chang rounded the corner.

“Hello Harry”

“Hi” said Harry his face going red.

Sarina stood there not listening to the conversation; she eyed Cho with narrowed eyes. It wasn’t that she didn’t like Cho she didn’t really know her, but she was her competition for Harry, so they weren’t likely to be best friends. She watched as Cho walked off and could hear Ron and Hermione bickering something about Ron attacking Cho about her Quidditch team. The bell had gone and they started off towards Potions, Sarina couldn’t help but give Ron a pat on the back.

The day had been a very long one in Sarina’s opinion, she sat down at the table for dinner with the others her head feeling as though it was about to burst. The talk turned to Harry’s outburst in Umbridge’s class and they weren’t the only one’s discussing it either, on the other tables people were talking about it as well and looking over at Harry to see if they could get a reaction out of him.

“Let’s get out of here” said Hermione loudly.

They all got up from the table and headed out of the hall. People were whispering as they walked passed and a pair of first years were staring avidly at Harry blocking the doorway.

“Don’t you know it’s rude to stare” Sarina snapped at them, they quickly scurried away.

“Thanks Sarina” Harry mumbled.

“Don’t mention it”

They walked into the common room; Fred and George were surrounded by first years who were hanging onto their every word while they handed out sweets to them. Hermione stalked off towards them no doubt to tell them off. Harry and Ron had gone to sit by the fire, Sarina looked around the room and as much as she wanted to stay she had homework to do and she knew she wouldn’t be able to finish it in here, she was not used to this much noise.

She walked over to Harry and Ron “I’m going to do my homework in my dormitory, where it’s a little more quiet” she told them “Goodnight”

“Goodnight” they said in unison.

Two weeks, it had only been two weeks since she had started at Hogwarts it felt like a lifetime Sarina thought. She trudged her way back to the common room after spending a couple of hours in the library. She had never had so much homework to do; she’d never had a problem when she was studying from home because there was nothing else to do but school work. Now that she was at Hogwarts, she had friends and other activities to keep her amused. She was finding it difficult to keep up; she climbed through the portrait hole and made her way over to Ron and Hermione.

“Where’ve you been Sarina”? Hermione asked looking up from her book.

“In the library trying to get a grip on all this work” she sighed “but I got to say I’m struggling”

“Would you like me to help out”? Hermione asked smiling “I won’t do the work for you, but I can help you prioritise”.

“That would be a big help Hermione, with so much stuff going on here I get caught in everything else” Sarina groaned.

Hermione got out some parchment and a quill and started drawing up tables.

“You’ll be sorry now Sarina” Ron laughed “She’s always trying to do this for me and Harry”. Hermione poked her tongue out at him.

“Speaking of Harry where is he”? Sarina asked.

“Detention with Umbridge” Ron growled.

“She’s horrible that woman, we’re never going to learn anything from her” Sarina remarked.

“I know” Hermione said “but I’ve got an idea”.

Just then Harry climbed through the portrait hole with his hand wrapped in a scarf. Sarina looked at him and felt a rush of hatred towards Professor Umbridge.

“Here Harry, soak your hand in this it will relieve the pain” Hermione told him

“Thanks Hermione” Harry said gratefully.

“Er Harry” Hermione said tentatively “we’ve just been talking about Umbridge’s classes and how we’re not going to learn anything from her and well I’ve got an idea’ she looked at him nervously.

“What’s that”? Harry asked looking at her suspiciously.

“Well we need a teacher, someone who’s actually going to show us some real defence and I thought……” she faltered for a moment and then took a deep breath “and I thought that someone should be you”.

Harry looked at her as if she had gone mad; he looked over at Ron ready to laugh with him at Hermione’s crazy idea. But to his amazement Ron wasn’t laughing, he was nodding his head in agreement.

Sarina sat up in her chair “that’s a brilliant idea Hermione” she said.

“Me teach you defence, it’s absurd” Harry laughed.

“Think about all the things you have done Harry, it makes sense” Hermione cried.

Harry shook his head he could not believe they were all seriously considering this, Ron spoke up this time “look at how many times you have come up against you-know-who Harry and gotten away alive”.

“Yeah but that wasn’t just me, most of the time help came at the right time or luck was on my side, it wasn’t skill” he said angrily “don’t try to make me out as some hero and that Cedric was stupid that’s why he was killed. You don’t know what it’s like standing there facing him and know your about to die” he spat out.

Hermione looked horrified and was on the verge of tears, Ron was stammering his apologies, Sarina stood up and walked to Harry she put her hand on his shoulder and spoke in a quiet voice “that’s why we need you Harry, you have faced him and even though you knew he was going to try and kill you – you still tried to fight him anyway”.

He looked into her eyes and felt the touch of her hand on his shoulder, what she had said made sense; he took a deep breath his anger ebbing away. He gave a weak smile “sorry” he muttered and sank back down in his chair.

Hermione breathed a sigh of relief “Just think about it okay”

“Okay” he mumbled.

The next two weeks were just as long and difficult as the first two weeks, but Sarina felt as though at least she was coping with her school work better thanks to Hermione. The four of them could be found in the library one night doing their homework when Hermione looked up from her book and spoke.

“Harry I was just wondering whether you had thought more about the idea of teaching us Defence”

“Yeah I have” he said slowly “and okay I’ll teach you three”

“Well I think it would be a good idea if you taught anyone who wanted to learn” she said matter of factly.

He was silent for a moment thinking, Ron watched him warily and Sarina held her breath.

“Okay” he said after a while “I doubt anyone else will want to come, but I’m willing”.

“Yes” Ron and Sarina said together and high fived each other, Hermione sat there positively beaming and Harry wore a grin from ear to ear.

“We’ll sound some people out and meet at Hogsmeade next weekend” Hermione ordered.

The Hogsmeade weekend rolled around very quickly. Sarina, Harry, Ron and Hermione were walking through the village towards the Hogs Head; they stood out the front looking at it apprehensively.

“Well Hermione this is the place you picked, so after you” Sarina gave a bow and waved towards the door. Hermione gave her a dirty look as she headed towards the door, Sarina followed her chuckling.

They had no sooner sat down when the door opened and more people came in. They all sat down looking at Harry, not a bad turnout Sarina thought as she counted heads a total of twenty eight people, not bad at all. After an hour of discussion they all headed back outside and went their separate ways. Hermione went into one of the shops to buy a new quill with Ron hot on her heels, Harry went to follow but Sarina held out her hand to stop him.

“Harry can I have a quick word”? She asked

Harry looked a little confused “Er sure, what’s up”?

“I know a place where we can all go to learn defence, my aunt’s told me about it” she said excitement in her voice.

“Yes go on”

“It’s called the Room of Requirement; it’s on the seventh floor. Not everybody knows about it, but it is always there ready to be called upon and is always equipped with whatever the user requires” she told him.

“I remember Dumbledore mentioning this room last year. Yes this is excellent Sarina. Why didn’t you say anything about it in the Hogs Head”? He asked.

“I wanted to run it by you first, see what you thought” she said simply.

“It’s brilliant we’ll let the others know” he clapped her on the back.

The next few months went by very quickly for Sarina she could hardly believe that it was almost Christmas, with all the school work, DA lessons and other various activities, the last two months seemed to be a blur. But for the first time she was having the time of her life, in fact her life was almost perfect there was just one little hitch in it and that hitch came in the form of a certain Ravenclaw seeker.

They were just finishing up their last DA lesson before the holidays; everybody was leaving through the door. Harry was lagging behind fixing the cushions and Cho Chang was hanging back also, Sarina stopped by the door and watched them for a moment, she clenched her fists by her sides, the green eyed monster was rearing its ugly head again. She didn’t want to give them anytime alone together, she was about to call out to Harry when Hermione grabbed her by the hand and pulled her through the door hissing in her ear.

“Let them have sometime alone, come on let’s go”.

Sarina reluctantly left the room and walked back up to the Gryffindor common room, her stomach was churning horribly she was trying not to think about what was happening between Harry and Cho but pictures of them kissing kept entering her mind. Once inside the common room Ron and Hermione headed over to the chairs by the fire. Sarina wanted to be by herself, so fighting back the tears she told Ron and Hermione that she was going to bed. She ran up to the dormitory and flung herself onto the bed and cried her eyes out till she fell asleep.

Hermione woke her the next morning and told her of Harry’s vision of Mr Weasley and that he, Ron, Ginny, Fred and George had been taken to Headquarters.

“As soon as classes have finished I’m taking the Knight Bus and going over there” Hermione said.

“I’m coming with you” Sarina said throwing her things in the trunk.

“I thought you might say that”

They arrived at Headquarters later that night and were told by Ginny that Harry had locked himself away and wouldn’t talk to anybody. Hermione went upstairs to go and get him, while the rest of them waited in Ron and Harry’s bedroom. After about twenty minutes Hermione entered the room followed by Harry.

“Sarina and I came on the Knight Bus” she was saying as she came into the room “but we had to wait till term officially ended before we could make the trip. Ginny told us what you all heard at the hospital”.

“THAT’LL BE RIGHT ALL TALKING ABOUT ME BEHIND MY BACK” Harry yelled.

“We wanted to talk to you Harry” Ginny said “but you keep hiding away from us”.

“YOU WON’T EVEN LOOK AT ME, I’M BEING POSSESSED AND YOU’RE ALL SCARED…..”

Sarina stood up and went over to Harry and laid her hand on his arm.

“I think you should hear what Ginny’s got to say” she said in a quiet and calm voice.

Harry looked down where her hand was and felt a warm sensation run through his body and felt his anger begin to wash away. He was confused this was the second time that Sarina had managed to calm him down after an angry outburst. He looked over at the others and they were all staring at the two of them.

“Sorry” he mumbled “you were saying Ginny”

Ginny started talking to him about the time she was possessed by Riddle. Sarina stood beside Harry listening to the conversation Hermione however stood there and watched the interaction between Harry and Sarina with a faint smile on her face.

Christmas had come and gone and they were now heading back to Hogwarts. As they were heading up to Gryffindor Tower Cho Chang caught up with Harry. Hermione quickly steered Sarina away dragging her by the sleeve. They made their way into the dormitories to put their trunks away. After the other girls had left and they were alone Hermione finally spoke.

“You like Harry, don’t you Sarina”?
“Of course I like him, he’s my friend” she said sounding exasperated.

“You know what I mean Sarina” Hermione said

“I don’t know……..” but she stopped what was the point in lying to Hermione she had obviously figured it out.

“I don’t just like him Hermione” she sighed “I’m in love with him and it’s driving me crazy”

“I knew it’ Hermione squealed “what are you going to do”?

“What can I do he’s with Cho and he’s liked her for a while now. He’s got enough on his plate at the moment without having a complicated love life” she cried.

Hermione put her arms around Sarina and gave her a hug “you won’t ever know if you don’t tell him” she whispered.

Sarina laughed “that’s a bit rich coming from you Hermione, have you told Ron how you feel about him” she raised her eyebrows at her.

“I..I don’t” she stammered.

Sarina laughed again “Okay Hermione I won’t hassle you about your love life, if you don’t hassle me about mine”

Hermione looked sheepish.

“The thing is Hermione; I know that we are meant to be together there is a connection between us. Cho is not the right girl for him and he’ll come to realise that, so I’ll be patient and wait for that time to come” Sarina told her.

Well that's all I have for tonight, let me know what you think. I know it is a bit slow but it starts to pick up from here.
