Chapter 1, Part 5- The Creatures
“Sirius has more of a place than you do, Riddle,” Harry continued, his hand steadier than ever, never faulting compared to his counter-parts, quivering with rage. “You have no place in this world,” Harry said again to Voldemort, “You will never have a place in this world.”
“I will make a new world, Harry,” Voldemort hissed, “A world that will be the down fall of the Chosen One, and of all muggle-lovers alike.”
“You won’t have the time.”
A slight rumbling and snorting could be heard just beyond the cage, a dark blanket swept over the scene, the only light, radiating from the cage. The air was thick and fear could almost be unbearable.
“A man, a great wizard once told me that people often believe what they fear is what other people fear, he spoke the truth. You fear Death and Darkness, but not all of us do, Voldemort. Not all of us do.”
Voldemort remained silent. He knew that the end was near, something he had never known before and he, was afraid.
“So you see, Voldemort, you’re finished.”
The grunting grew louder as the creatures moved forwards, snorting every now and again. A roar was heard at a distance and Harry said, “I might not be able to kill you, but they are. And they’re good.” |
