Just like its
Goblet of Fire predecessor,
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has been rated M by the Australian Office of Film and Literature Classification due to its "moderate fantasy themes and violence."
According to the film’s distributor:
Quote:
The classification of the film as an M is fair, given the content of the film.
Order of the Phoenix is rated PG-13 in the U.S. for sequences of fantasy violence and frightening images and 12A in the U.K. for moderate fantasy violence and horror.
