I think it was sad that the DA didn't come back in HBP, which could just be a ruse by Jo to keep us off our feet, but I really don't see a need for Dumbledore's Army when there's The Order of the Phoenix? I mean wouldn't you essentially just grow up and join into the League? Like in comic books, yes there's a need for the Teen Titans, but when you come of age, you want to graduate to The Justice League, you don't want to be known as a Teen Titan. Dumbledore's Army has the same problem. It was created NOT TO FIGHT UMBRIDGE it was created to subvert her desire NOT TO TEACH proper DADA, which is a message people seem to clearly miss. Jo is trying to say, if you want to learn something right, or you don't think they're teaching you right, go out and learn it yourself. Which I totally agree.

That said, I think if there ever was going to be another Dumbledore's Army it would be like years later, when Harry's all grown up and married with Ginny and their kids had to fight a new threat

now do you see why I want a sequel?

So ... I don't expect the DA needs to exist, but if it does come out in DH that would so r0x0rs
