Hogwarts RPG Name: Luna Ignatio Moore Graduated | Regulations and Rules
Luna looked around the room. It was a pale green colour with little decoration; accept a bookcase and a large wooden desk, piled high with papers and folders.
She stood up from the floor. She had never apparated before, assuming that was what she had just done, and it had left her feeling queasy and a little sick. Though she wasn’t quite sure if it was because of the apparition or the fact she was about to get in a lot of trouble.
At the desk sat a woman with pale skin that contrasted with her deep brown hair that could almost be black. Her curly hair flowed down past her midriff and she wore pale pink robes with a few coffee stains on the front.
She gave Luna a wary look and pointed to the hard seat in front of the desk.
Luna sat sown on the chair and looked at the woman, she looked tired and as though she needed a rest.
Corona Powell picked up a sheet of paper from her desk and read it out.
“Preformed the body bind curse on muggle minors in the presence of other muggle minors. No serious harm, breach of the decree for the reasonable restriction of underage magic.” Her voice was toneless and tired.
“Do you understand the seriousness of this?” she asked, her voice becoming more professional.
Luna nodded, “But they were going to attack me,” She said pleadingly, “What were I supposed to do?”
Corona sighed. “Do you have any physical evidence they were attacking you? Did the actually hurt you?” she asked.
Luna shook her head. “But…they chased me down an alley, I had to do something!”
“You preformed magic on a muggle, in front of a muggle. This is serious.”
Luna looked down at her feet. They would punish her then send her back to her father and he would either kill her or imprison her in her own home and make sure she would never escape.
“Fortunately for you we have sorted out the problem. The teenagers had already consumed a large amount of alcohol so there wasn’t much spell work needed by the magic reversal squad and obliviators and they have confirmed they were dangerous.”
Luna felt a small bubble of hope; maybe she would get out of this without too much trouble. But the bubble burst as she realised they would still send her home.
“We believe that your conduct was within the regulations…” she paused, “…however we have a few more questions that are. Slightly less related to the incident tonight.” Her voice had gone delicate and touchy, it made Luna feel nervous.
“Where exactly are you living at the moment?” she asked
Luna thought for a second, lie to them or not?
“At home.”
Corona’s eyebrows raised slightly for a second.
“And where is home?”
“18 Rawpath avenue.”
The words were out of her mouth before she had even realised it.
“Okay…” Corona scribbled something down on a piece of paper.
Luna leant over to take a look but before she could see it, the paper was snatched away from her, out of her sight. Not quick enough though for her to see the word father.
“That will be all.” She said standing up, an obvious sign for Luna to stand up also. “If you could just wait outside a moment while I wrap this up a minute.”
Luna stood up and shook Corona’s hand before turning to leave but as she had her hand on the door handle Corona spoke.
“Don’t worry Luna, you’ll be fine. Just let us sort it out.”
She pointed her wand at the door and a clicking noise could be heard. Luna had forgotten the door was locked.
Nodding Luna left and walked out into a plain corridor with a few adults walking past her wearing the same midnight blue robes as the man who came to pick her up from the alley.
She looked around and saw a boy who looked a few years younger than her, he had blonde, wavy hair that reached just past his ears. Her eyes were drawn to the long scar down his left cheek and the bruises on his face. He was wearing simple muggle clothing. Ragged Jeans and a black long sleeved t-shirt.
Luna looked down at her own clothes, she was a mess. Dirty, ripped and burnt Hogwarts robes.
She stared at him for a moment, not really looking, just thinking. Father. That word was written on the paper, she considered it for a moment and it clicked.
She hadn’t mentioned her father in the interview; he had obviously given the ministry a description of Luna not long after she had run away.
She became panicked. She was in the middle of the ministry of magic, she had no idea how to get out and her father was coming to pick her up right now. |
