Whooo! It's Katie with another fic! I'm trying out all the ships that I can! But they all end up as D/Hr fics....hmm....I wonder what that says about me...? Oh well, this fic is going to start out as a H/Hr fic, then it may or may not turn into a R/Hr fic...*shudders*

OK! The setting IS:

Ron, Harry, and Hermione are out looking for the Horcuxes. Harry sometimes has to leave his girlfriend, Hermione, and his best friend, Ron, at home, while he goes and does some dangerous missons that are a little too dangerous for more than one person. As Harry is gone for longer periods of time, Ron's old love starts to rekindle for Hermione. Does she feel the same way about him?

"Harry, look out!"

Harry dodged another spell shot out by the old man.

"You'll never have my book!" The old man shouted in his hoarse voice, and shot out another spell. Hermione blocked it.

"Ron! Help! I can't hold off both of them!" The old man was joined by his swifter, more cunning son.

"Dad! Save the heirloom! I'll take care of them." The boy turned from his father, and grabbed Hermione. Harry and Ron stopped dead in his tracks.

"That's right, wouldn't want to hurt your little girlfriend here now, would we?" He backed towards the door through which his father had just exited. "Now, we're gonna leave now, nice and quiet, and maybe I can convince your girlfriend here to tell me exactly who you people are. Oh, and if she doesn't consent...well," He began to rotate his hips, "I'll find another way to persuade her."

And the two of them left the room. As soon as they left, Harry pounded on the door.

"Hermione! Hermione!" He stepped back from the door, and Ron pulled out his wand.

"Bombarta!" The door flew open, and a long hallway was exposed. The two boys quickly ran down it, Hermione the only thing on their minds.
