Merry Christmas guys! And heeeere's a Post!
Chapter 6-Continued...
Hermione's POV:
Well Tonight’s the night...Christmas Eve...the Night that will be one to remember. I'm so nervous, I’m shaking! I mean sure everything will be okay, I mean Draco left me the mask he got me on my bed. I mean...I look good, which is a Plus. My hair wrapped up elegantly in a bun with a few pieces in my face, my hair is decorated with glitter and little gems. Obviously the beautiful gown which Draco picked out for me. I'm wearing a pair of silver shoes with diamantes encrusted in them. My make-up consisted of Silvery eye shadow with blue eyeliner, silvery blush and I made my lips to be blue-ish, and silvery with a hint of glitter. Oh and of course the mask, which was truly beautiful. I checked my appearance for what seemed like the hundredth time that evening, picked up my skirt and headed to the door. Draco had already gone down to the entrance hall, he said he wished for me to make a big entrance.
I took a deep breath and started to head down the stairs. I immediately felt all eyes on me, I looked around for Draco and saw he was talking to Harry, Ginny, Ron and his date who was a Pretty Hufflepuff girl. Harry looked up and smiled at me, Draco turned around and I saw his eyes widen. I smiled and slowly walked down the stairs, some guys drooled…which was not the most pleasant thing, but some girls threw envious glares…especially Pansy, who wasn’t wearing a dress…it was like an Lingerie get up. But most people smiled, which was good I guess. When I reached the bottom, Draco took my hand and kissed it softly, he put a white rose in my hair and stroked my face softly.
“You look…so beautiful” he said, he looked at me. I smiled at him, “Most beautiful girl in the entire school I think…in the Universe more like it” He bowed gracefully and took my hand. I followed him into the Great Hall, which was decorating beautifully…Crystals, the ceiling bewitched to look like a Nights sky with snow falling softly, the lighting creating a silvery, blue effect. A Huge Christmas Tree stood grandly on one of the stands behind the band.
Draco spun me round softly and we began to dance, he wrapped his arms round me.
“Mione” he whispered,
“Yes?” I replied,
“Do you want to go outside, for a walk?” he asked.
“Yes…that would be nice” So he took my hand and we began to walk outside. The night was cold, but for some reason I felt warm. The ground was white and sparkled in the Moonlight.
“Close your eyes” he whispered, I obeyed and I felt myself being led, occasionally being told “Step” and “Bump”. Then we stopped,
“Okay…open” he said, As my eyes flicked open, I gasped. The area where we had stopped had a beautiful crystal tree and the light flicked making the tree glow, there where candles and flowers and soft music playing, which I recognized to be Clocks by Coldplay. I felt butterflies bouncing in my stomach, creating a nauseating feeling. He led me over to the bench, I heard him take a deep breath.
“Mione” he said,
“Yes” I whispered, he took my hand and held it.
“I love you, more than anything…we’ve only been going out for a couple of months, but I’ve already fallen deeply in love with you.”
I felt tears stinging in my eyes, really badly…I think I’m going to faint or be sick. Draco pulled out a small velvet box, he opened it for me. But it wasn’t an engagement ring, but a silver ring with little emeralds and diamonds in.
“This isn’t an engagement ring…but it’s a promise ring…I’m promising you that no matter what happens, as soon as we are ready…I want to marry you…because I’ve never been so sure in my life that I want to be with you…forever” I felt tears roll down my cheeks,
“Oh Draco” I breathed,
“So will you…not properly…marry me?” he waited,
“Yes…yes…Oh…Of course!” I cried out, He slid the ring on my finger and he lifted up my mask and kissed me. He took me into his arms and just held me…and when I say I’ve never been happier…I never have.
And there it is! My present from me to you…
