Hogwarts RPG Name: Hannah Diggory Third | Hermione Granger’s Pain 2: Princess of Death? - Sa16+ the looooooooooooooooooong awaited sequel is here!! Disclaimer: Don't own Harry Potter, JKR does. Hermione Granger’s Pain 2: Princess of Death? Chapter one: Princess Unwell Three years since she found out she was a princess, put her father in prison and left Hogwarts with Cedric for the final time. Her grandmother’s assistant doted on her and Cedric, and gave Hermione Princess Lessons and put what the young witch had learned to the test. She was quite a fast learner and passed most of what was thrown at her. She also made mistakes along the way in her walking, speaking and appearance. Her wild, untameable frizzy hair was the worst to tackle. The Royal family’s dressers and stylists tried everything from straightening charms to hair serums and crèmes. “Mione.” Cedric whispered to the sleeping form of his girlfriend, he leaned over the many pillows on their bed and nuzzled her neck. She rolled over so she was facing him and slowly woke up from her deep slumber. “Welcome to the world of the living, darling.” Cedric grinned. “Shut up.” She said groggily and playfully flung her arm out at him. “You slept well.” He said cheerfully. “Bugger off.” She said and groaned in pain. She rolled away from him and lay on her stomach, hugging herself. “What’s wrong?” he asked, slipping from his propped up position and put his arm across her back. “I don’t know.” Her voice was muffled by the many pillows that surrounded her face, almost as though smothering her. “Yes you do.” He pouted. She seemed to feel his pout burning into her neck and turned her head to face him. “I’m near my time, okay?” she mumbled. Cedric wrinkled his nose, making him look adorable. “I’ll leave you to your lady problems then.” He smiled and kissed her. Hermione mimicked him and pouted up at him. “I was told I had to read a speech to the people through the WNN before I got confidence to speak publicly.” “I’ll do it on your behalf. You’re staying in bed because you’re not well.” “You don’t-“ “Don’t you dare say those last words. I’m offering.” He said, silencing her with a kiss. “Okay fine.” She mumbled. “I’ll tell Jaime you’re staying here then.” He said and kissed her a final time before leaving the room. ‘I wish he’d do this all day … the kissing I mean…’ she thought wistfully. A knock sounded on her door. “Come in…” Hermione said quietly. After three years she still hadn’t accustomed to people knocking on her door for entry. She was used to her father bursting the door down to come in and hurt her. “Princess? I’ve received note from Mister Diggory that you’re not all to well. What is wrong Your Highness?” Jaime asked. “Nothing I can’t handle.” Hermione said. “And Jaime. It’s not fair if I get to call you by your name but you can’t seem to be allowed to call me and Cedric by our own names. Call Me Hermione, okay? Not Your Highness, Majesty, Princess. I’m no higher than the lesser fortunate are in my eyes.” She said kindly. “Y…Yes Your Majesty- I-I mean Hermione…” Jaime stammered and bowed her way out of the room. Hermione shook her head, smiling. “It’ll be back to her automatic response of ‘Princess’, ‘Your Majesty’ or ‘Your Highness’ later. Honestly. Cedric and I tell her it’s okay to call us by our names.” She muttered to herself. She pulled the covers tight around her body for comfort. She slowly fell into a restless slumber, the memories of her dad never fading, but the scars that he inflicted and she inflicted upon herself slowly disintegrating into nothingness. Three hours had passed and she finally awoke to the sound of cluttering in the room. She went into instant fear and trembled under her covers, wishing Cedric was next to her, making her feel safe. The thing that was cluttering around had stopped quivering and squeaked an apology. “Miss Princess Hermione. I is very sorry to have awakened you from your peaceful sleep.” The familiar squeaky voice said and bashed his head against the vanity table. She looked up to see; “Dobby?” The elf stopped bashing his head instantly and looked at her, his large green eyes looking up, pleading. The reminded her of Harry. “What are you doing here?” she asked, beaming at the now bashful elf. “Mr Harry Potter has sent me, Miss. He is being missing you terribly since you left.” Dobby said. “Oh. Oh, poor Harry!” Hermione gasped. “He doesn’t think Mr Cedric Diggory is right for Miss Princess Hermione.” The sparkle in Hermione’s eyes vanished as quickly as it came. “Does Miss Hermione still have strong feelings for Mr Harry Potter?” Dobby asked. Hermione nodded. “But I’m with Cedric now.” She told the elf. “You can still change your mind.” Dobby said. “Your Majesty?” came the muffled voice of Jaime. Dobby snapped his fingers and vanished with a loud crack just as Jaime entered the room. “Are you alright, Princess?” she asked. Hermione was about to answer when she lurched at the side of the bed and threw up, traces of blood speckled in her bile. Jaime yelped and fled from the room to find a medi-witch or wizard. She sent an owl to Cedric telling him to get back to the palace, for Hermione was unwell. |
