Should or do I have to contact a mod before sending it to validation, proving her email-address and an (off-site)link to the original so they can verify my claim? Quote: As wonderful as the story may be, it is our policy to disallow members to post stories on behalf of other people. The risk for plagiarism is very high in fan fiction as it is, and while I do not doubt your sincerity or your honesty, we cannot in good conscience bend this rule for you. I'm sorry. If your friend wishes to become a Snitchseeker member and post a story, that would be great. But we don't allow ghost-posting, nor do we host fan fiction created by non-members. Sorry, to bring this up again and take up your time, but - even with the prospect of probably annoying you with my desperate request - I just had to try once more...
Well, I thought about it and figured that (maybe) I'm not actually ghost-posting :-) . I'm not translating the story because she asked me to and then post it somewhere, but because I asked her if I could - to practice translating and now just want to know if the translated text is any good. If it's still no, I promise, I won't bug you ever again.
She doesn't want to become a member, her English isn't good enough Sorry, the answer is still no. If she's not a member looking to be a part of our community, there's not much point in posting her work here at Snitchseeker. Quote:

You could either post them individually as one-shot ficlets (one per thread) or if they are going to have a common theme (all about one character, or all about a certain period in time or whatever) you could post them in one thread. It's up to you. Quote:

This question has been answered above. Quote: How long does it take from submitting a fan fic until it appears on the site? There are five FF Mods who validate fan fiction threads. They all work as their schedules permit. Sometimes your thread will be validated within the hour, sometimes it may take a day or two. (evlpez: I usually check the control panel a few times a day during the week, and at least once a day on weekends, in the morning. If you had a thread awaiting validation and it didn't show up within 24 hours, then it was declined for some reason. You don't get a notice if it's approved or declined. If it's approved, it will just show up in the forrum in which you submitted it. If it doesn't show up, it was declined. Please allow a couple days to pass, then review the FF rules and make sure your thread complies before resubmitting. Quote:

The FF rules say that you must have some story in the first post. You can't say, "This will be about Harry and the dreaded diamond of doom and I'll post what happens after this is approved." Moderators must have a good sample of your writing in order to evaluate whether you've read and understood the FF and site rules, and to decide if your story or your writing is likely to continue to be within the rules after it's approved. You must put that rating into your title when you submit your new thread. No thread will be approved without a rating in the title.
