I definitely don't support Draco and Ginny, if it's Draco and anyone, it's Hermione. But, i'll still read it! Don't worry! Just pm me the link when it's up and i'll be your#1 reader!
Draco did the right thing, he always turns out fine the last minute! <33
Lauren xox | Sorry, but yes... so soon. And it's a short ending, but I thought it was alright. Probably doesn't live up to the rest of the story though... sorry for that. >.< And personally, I don't really support Draco/Ginny either. And the story is mostly about Ginny, who I also don't really like... lol. I just like writing about the bad boy and the good girl getting together... but I don't like Draco/Hermione because it just doesn't seem right... so I write Draco/Ginny. I will send you the link And without further ado... the last chapter. --- “You can’t destroy it.” Draco begged her for the millionth time. Draco and Charlie were back in the common room now.
“I can’t keep it. I don’t… I don’t have the self-control to… control everything,” Charlie sighed.
“Then throw it the lake,” Draco suggested, “just don’t… don’t destroy it. Give someone else the chance. Wrap it in a box for millions of years… just don’t destroy it.”
“Alright,” Charlie finally agreed. She went to her dormitory and found a box. The ring had been on her finger all year, but now she slipped it off and stuck it in the box. She pulled a green ribbon out of the belt loops on her skirt. (YES she wore skirts with belt loops!) She tied up the box and grabbed Draco’s hand, pulling him off the couch. He followed her up the stairs and through several corridors and then outside. Finally, they made it to the lake. Looking to him, Draco nodded. Charlie nodded as well, and pulled her arm back. Then she let the box fly out of her hand, into the lake where the box would reside for however long, she knew not.
“It was the right choice,” she whispered.
“It was a good choice,” he told her. Charlie leaned her head on Draco’s strong shoulder and he put his arm around her. They stayed like that for a little while. Finally, Draco looked down at her and she looked up at him. Charlie’s rings were what she had left of her mother, just like the ring was the only hope Draco had for his father. It was sentimental to both of them, and then it was gone. He kissed her softly and she took his hand again, leading him back to the common room. They stayed on the couch for a while, and at one point Charlie cried. Draco looked at her and kissed her, then said to Charlie’s agreement,
“That was one magic ring.” |
