The next few weeks Kris had been running to the bathroom every few hours. Remus and Sirius keep asking her if she's sick but she just tells them, "I'm fine." then she will mutter, "Just need to talk to James." One day Remus had had enough of her saying she was fine when she clearly wasn't. Remus walked up the walk way of James' house, he thought he heard him talking to someone but pushed the thought to the back of his mind. When he got to the door he knew he heard a voice, Kris' voice, he stopped and listened.
"James, I can't keep this up...I can't keep lying to them.."
"I know, Krissy, I hate it too. But if he finds out you..me..we.."
"Yeah, I know, he'd kill us.."
Remus got out his wand and blasted the door down, both James and Kris jumped, Remus couldn't believe his eyes. So he asked, "What were you two doing? What were you talking about? What is so bad that it'd make me kill you?" His eyes went from Kris to James and back again. |
