“Dare.” Ginny grinned at Hermione, confident in herself. Hermione grinned and leaved over to whisper in Ginny’s ear. Ginny’s jaw dropped and her face fell dramatically. “But... I can’t do that! Hermione, that’s not fair! You can’t bring other people into this!” She crossed her arms and pouted at the older girl.
“Fine then. You owe me 2000 words on the history of Hogwarts.”
The next day at breakfast Ginny marched past the Slytherin table, dropping a note into Draco Malfoy’s lap. He opened the note and snickered, looking at her retreating back. It read Yule Ball. 8:00. Great Hall.

*For Lillith, because I know she loves D/G too.
