Have you met James Potter?
Some say he's an old rotter,
But he isn't I say,
You'll find out today.
He could do spells,
Transfigure bells,
Chase the Quaffle,
While eating a waffle.
Talented was he,
In love he be,
Lily Evans - the girl,
More precious than a pearl.
Friends with Lupin, Pettigrew, and Black,
Who always had his daring back,
When he tortured Snape,
And pulled off his cape.
Talented he was indeed,
But he had a need,
To be the best,
Either east or west.
But he had a good soul,
Exept when Snape was in a hole,
To Lily he listened to,
He did the right thing to do.
His seventh year came 'round,
A new life he found,
He won Lily's heart,
And nothing could take them ... apart.
