He saw one eye, then the other. “What are you doing?”

“Sleeping,” he answered, pulling up the blanket.

“Taking a nap?” A heart-shaped face appeared around the doorframe.

“I was…” Remus gave her a severe look. He wanted to smile.

Tonks settled on the chair across from him. “Pretend I’m not here.”

He closed his eyes obediently before heaving a great sigh. “Ugh… fine.”

She grinned as she curled up with her back against his stomach, his arm around her waist. “This is the perk of taking a wife, love. You never have to nap alone.”

“We’re being quiet now.”
