I think we should have prefects for a house for a bit. (like 2-3 terms.) And get new ones. That would give others a chance at it instead of having the same person(s) being prefect all the time.

Besides, in the books, you're only prefect for 2-3 years. (Unless you become Prefect)

That is what happens. No one has been Prefect longer than 3 terms =]
