With a chuckle, he leaned back, his arm across the seat back. This was the game they played, the price of her admission to their club. She was a spoiled brat princess at times, but she was one of them and she played the game.

He looked up and spotted Doyle leading Belle back down the corridor. "At least she's using effective arsenal now," Brennan muttered as he turned to give Kailee the once over. Her hair was a mess, and Asher earned a glare.
