August 11th

Dear Journal,

I woke up today upon hearing my friends talk and laugh. James reminded me what tonight was. It was going to be a full moon, so, we would once again accompany Remus to the Shrieking Shack as he transforms into his wolf form.

As night time came, we again hid under James’s cloak. I am still surprised however, at the fact that the four of us can fit under that old thing. We cleverly used the map we invented to avoid the ghosts, poltergeists, professors, and other people who would want to stop us from leaving the school.

When we reached the forest near the shack, James, Peter, and I transformed into our Animagi form. Then, we all went inside the shack. We watched as Remus transformed into his werewolf form. Since he took his potion, Remus was never a threat to anybody.

We decided too take a stroll in Hogsmeade. The place wasn’t filled with a lot of people, not like when we have our trips organized by the professors, but it wasn’t deserted either. I stole a turkey from an old batty lady. She chased me with a broom halfway to the shack. We all ate the turkey inside the shack. It was really very odd to see a James as a Stag eat meat. We laughed about the incident in Hogsmeade. James suggested I should make my Animagi form permanent.

I have to go now, We’re playing a little prank on Snivellus! It will be wicked awesome! I’ll write to you all about what happened tomorrow…
