I understand the need for each movie to stand on their own to attract new audiences, but I would have preferred a tighter sense of continuity. I also don't like how details where sacrificed for the sake of movie efficiency. Yeah, they may seem like small details at the time, but they play a bigger role later on in the series.

Overall, from a sense of continuity to faithfulness to the books, I think Chris did it better.
*Nods in agreement* Exactly! Chris completely followed the books as close as anyone possibly could in my opinion... the third and fourth where just way to... err... butchered in mostsome of the scenes... especially PoA... it moved way to fast for my liking and the ending was like way out of place, but it was still good in most of the parts... I think they should have included a lot more in PoA and GoF and made the film a two or three disk thing.
