Hogwarts RPG Name: Shumeeta Leckter Second Year | Jay's Potter Melodies Sa9+ Jay’z Potter Melodies Hello everyone! Greetings. Well, after a slight gap, I’m back with my Poetry, most of which – unfortunately – sucks. With both Hp and non-HP Poetry, my sole purpose has been to convey my emotions and feelings, so I apologize in advance if I bore you.
This thread is dedicated, first of all, to Aria (hpoenixrose13) and Nikki (Snooty Snitch), and then to the Beloved Sir Spots. Inside of Ginny’s Trunk
An aged chest, worn-out and old,
Layered with dust; a dusty gold;
A rusty lock dangling down the front,
Ne’er opened without force and brunt;
Within, a straggly, unkempt mess,
Sets of robes, dress over dress,
But deep below, underneath this all,
Lies a black, aged package small;
‘Tis what contains her deepest, darkest fear,
A secret the soul at times just cannot bear,
‘Tis a diary, aged but still kept,
One ‘cause of which for hours she’s wept;
Every morn, when it’s still dark,
Before wakes up the earliest lark,
She cannot help but sit,
And write her account of her day in it;
She writes in it her innermost worries and fears,
The tensions and troubles she always bears,
She gets absorbed in it to the pole,
‘Cause in reply it comforts her soul.
The words actually get printed back,
Telling her there is naught she lacks,
And through saccharine phrases, for which she lusts,
The diary wins slowly more and more of her trust.
But now, to her horror, her life,
Is even more of a discord and strife;
For her verve is slipping away from her,
And everything that happens is all a blur;
And little though she used to suspect this chum,
Now she’s clever enough to it all sum,
Alas! From the diary’s clutches, she can’t escape at any rate.
Too bad, ‘tis such a sad ending, but then: it’s all fate.
Well, this was one of my worse pieces, because I’m not used to Potter Poems. Hopefully, I’ll get better when I’ve become more used to it. For now, Ciao.
