As previously reported, J.K. Rowling has donated a first edition signed copy of 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' to be auctioned on Ebay to raise funds for Peace Hospice. The auction has now ended, with the winning bid £4,500.00 (just under $8,000.00 U.S.). The winner will also receive a personalized letter from JKR.
