I feel sorry for them. I'm not a person who speaks another language, but I do live in Australia. How is this relevant? Over here, we have to wait at least 6 months, for things like movies and the such. Sometimes we don't even get it at all. Which is why we all resort to pirated stuff here. We can get it much quicker if it's pirated, than waiting for legitimate copies. Of course there's all that about how you should be patient and stuff, but after a while, you get frustrated at always having to wait forever for everything.
I personally believe that this person didn't should've gotten into trouble. Yes, he posted a copy of HBP online, but he took the time to translate it. It's only been about a month since HBP came out, and somebody has translated it into Spanish. Then why does it take forever for authorised people to translate it? Why does everything legal take forever, when pirate copies are done in a day?
I know that if I spoke a different language, but I also understood English, I would translate it even though it was illegal. The honest people would buy a copy of the legitimate translation when it comes out, but my translation would be to... How would I say, calm them down till the legitimate translation came out?
