*rubs hands together gleefully* Err... yes! :D
Although I draw a lot (so much, in fact, that my poor graphics tablet is literally cracking apart because I've worn it out), I find myself very rarely illustrating HP canon; instead most of the time I doodle fanfics I'm writing/reading or roleplays... so hopefully this forum will actually be incentive to draw "true" HP art! *laughs*
Digging through my stuff, I've got a pretty meagre assortment to show you initially, but I'm more than open to suggestions of who/what to draw next. :)

This is the newest - just a little portrait of Harry I whipped up while waiting to accumulate my 10 posts to become a true member. (wheehee! ...I mean, um, please imagine that was something incredibly dignified) I'm working on my shading which isn't so great in this piece, but I do like his hair, don't you? Think I got it messy enough? ;)
I realize that his Gryffindor badge should be showing, but when I got around to drawing it I was just so disgusted about the level of detail the drawing had already that I let it be. (Yes - detail - the hair counts - LOL!) Other than that and some faults in the shading I'm pretty pleased with it.

Albus Dumbledore, circa age 20-25. It's only half-inked and probably will never be finished, alas, even though I really like his (and Fawkes') expression, the placement of his hands just got too awkward. I might redo this picture from scratch, though - I really adore the concept, and I especially like my design for late-1800s-era-robes. (
ref used here.)

Okay, okay, okay - not canon I admit - this is fanart for a friend's fanfic. (Fanfanart? :P) It was her birthday, and I wanted to draw her something special, so I did. (The fanart, btw, is worth a read: The Red Shadow by H.E. Rushing at fanfiction.net.)
I really love the dress design here (based on
this ref) and especially the shading. It just all came together really well and I'm very happy to show it off as one of my best pieces. The only fault I think is its background - clouds are a weakness for me and rain quadrouply so! - but other people have told me it looks fine so I'm still pleased, LOL.
That's all for now - any comments/critique (especially critique!) are humbly appreciated, of course :) In any case if you get this far thank you for looking! ^_^
