Thanks so much for your thoughts guys. I really appreciate it. I'm not really sure when I started writing poems Anna, I kind of just write them when the mood strikes me. The ones I have posted have all been for my friend though, but I love to write, so I do

Close my eyes late at night
Everything just feels so right
Day and night you’re my light
Nothings wrong everything’s right
I feel like there is no one else
You’re the one I can tell
The way you talk, the way you smile
That makes this seem so worthwhile
You tell me you love me everyday
That no one can ever take my place
That all the words known to man
Can’t sum every feeling you get while holding my hand
I know for once that in this life
I can be sure that something’s right
That no matter how many tears I cry
You’re the sun to take them away
You’re the sun to brighten my day
So in this poem I will write
All the things I’m feeling tonight
I love you Connor I swear I do
And I can honestly say I know you do too
Forever for always in my dreams at night
And always there to be my light
So here I’ll say in the simplest terms
Connor I love you, this I’m sure
