Having Durmstrang be all boys an Beauxbatons be all girls makes it seem like Hogwarts is the only co-ed magic school - which is totally weird. Probably Beauxbatons is the only magic school in France so where would the french magic boys attend if they couldn't go to Beauxbatons - ditto for Durmstrang.
