Hello all.

I thought that when he tried to kill Harry he would've just dropped his wand, and then someone would have found it later. It obviously was not one of the "good guys" because then the wand would have been disposed of so it had to be someone loyal to Voldemort. Peter Pettigrew would seem logical because he could snoop around the house and no one would say anything because everyone believed he was a friend of the Potters. But where would he have kept it for 14 years is what I'm wondering. He isn't the most loyal subject, so what stopped him from destroying it or even forgetting about it if he was the one that took it?
