Post HP composer nominated for Classical Brit

John Williams, who composed and conducted the scores for 'Philosopher's Stone', 'Chamber of Secrets' and 'Prisoner of Azkaban', has been nominated for a Classical Brit Award for his work on the third Potter film.

Williams has been nominted in the new category of 'Best Soundtrack Composer'. His competition includes Nigel Hess for 'Ladies in Lavender' and Jocelyn Pook for the 'Merchant of Venice'.

The Classical Brit Awards will be held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on May 25th.
