Chapter 6 (continued)
'He used a hex to gash your arm?' Hermione exclaimed incredulously.
'I used my powers to throw him into a wall after that. He hit pretty hard, so we're quite even,' Carrie replied calmly.
'That was still quite nasty of him.'
Hermione glared at the wall and Carrie snorted derisively.,'Ha, and when has he not been 'quite nasty'?'
'Good point,' Hermione stated, resting her case.
Harry walked through the portrait, saw Carrie, glared and walked up to his dorm.
'You know, I get the feeling he has something against me,'she remarked trying, and failing, to sound hurt.
Hermione didn't say anything at this, but Carrie knew what she was thinking,'We aren't all that bad. Look at Tonks, and....look....at Sirius.' Though she was quite quiet, Harry heard her. Carrie was surprised by this. The footsteps stopped.
'You didnt even know him.'
'True, but I know he was one of the few decent relatives I've got. Even if I'm not really related to any of them.'
Harry had just continued walking up to his dorm after she said that...

The next day wasn't much fun. As Carrie walked by the tables at breakfast she heard muttering, and got a lot of odd looks. She expected it, though, just not so soon. She also expected it to be common knowledge one day, however she wished it could just be her 'dirty little secret'. She didn't want it to be so soon.
